With 0.03% encapsulated retinaldehyde, AKA retinal, the Crystal Retinal 3 Serum (30ml) is your new hard-working hero serum, plumping, softening and firming the look of skin.
A cream-like serum that effortlessly melts into skin, this is your new nighttime treat. Providing the same results as retinol but up to 11 times faster, retinal works to boost the appearance of collagen-rich skin, revealing bouncy and dewy results. Encased in a crystal structure that can be broken down by the skin's natural enzymes, retinal is easily absorbed, allowing the slow release of vitamin A while you sleep. Add hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and glycerin into the prodigious blend, and you have a serum that deeply hydrates, for a healthy-looking, supple complexion.
After cleansing in the evening, massage a small amount across the face, neck and décolletage. Allow to absorb before applying your moisturiser. Use twice a week for the first two weeks, every other night for the next two weeks, then every night. Always wear sunscreen the following morning. Consult a doctor if breastfeeding or pregnant.

Applies nicely but no different to the serum
Having been a big fan of the retinol serum, I thought this would be a step up. While the consistency is pleasant and it applies nicely, have noticed no difference. If anything, my skin reacts better to the serum, which has a better price point!

Good introduction to retinol
This was my first time using retinol and so far so good! My skin felt slightly tingly at first but got used to it after a week. Skin feels good and will ramp up usage from end of the week

First time purchasing after a bit of a rough time with tret products - this is such a game changer! No peri oral irritation, minimal dryness and general skin texture seems to have improved after only a few weeks. Finishing this tube and ordering the next strength up!

Perfect formula
I’ve used so many retinol versions and this is hands down the best! The formula is more like a moisturizer and I have very dry skin so the texture is very much perfect for me. I’ve finished this bottle now and didn’t have any reaction or purge during it I’ve moved on to the level 6 and loving that one too!Â

Probably the best retinaldehyde I've ever used. No irritation and really works on improving my skin tone and evening it out.
