GOAT Cleanser

I was a devoted Ceramic Slip cleanser before SR changed the formula - which I'm grateful for as otherwise I would never have felt the need to try this. A thick, mud-brown sludge that at first feels tough to apply, but encourages you to massage your skin and actually requires very little product once your hands warm it up to cover your face. The smell is akin to a rich chocolate pudding which instantly sold my partner on it. I smear it on before brushing my teeth, then rinse it off after 2 mins. Compared to Ceramic Slip this feels a lot more luxurious, smells infinitely better and seems to be equally if not more beneficial for my skin so far (oily/combination). It lasts about 90 days for one user if you're using a moderate amount, which I think is fair for the price. Also to note is that the packaging has been updated . Previously it was in a pump which was incredibly difficult to operate given the thickness of the product. It now comes in a squeezy tube which makes life a lot easier!

Hated this mask.

I have tried many many masks, this one is the worst I've tried. I hated the smell and the texture. The stickiness made it really difficult to spread over the face meaning you wasted a lot of product. The smell was off-putting and made wearing the mask not enjoyable. I noticed zero difference in my skin after all the hassle, really not worth it. When the product arrived the top of the packaging burst open so I lost a lot of product before first use which I don't expect that from such a pricey item! Incredibly disappointed I won't use this brand again.

Problem skin saver

This has saved my skin. I’m a huge fan of allies of skin - every single product, although spendy, is lush. This thought, however, is next level. Due to some awful life events, my stress has been all over my chin. And I’ve had breakouts I’ve never had before. This product is the only thing that has done any good. (I bought 8 different face masks). Immediately this calmed n reduced the lumps and redness. It helped some spots heal and keep purging my troubled skin day on day. The tube is a bit annoying n messy. But I’ve had no issues getting the product out. I’ve used it at least once a day since Christmas Day. It’s now the 30th of January. So that’s a great value. I use this as a double cleanse/mask combined in the evening. And some days a mask after a quick morning cleanse. It leaves my skin so soft and bright. It is a million times better than ceramic slip which for me just causes breakouts and leaves my skin dry. I’m already starting to panic for when it runs out. When I saw my facialist last week she couldn’t believe the improvement in my skin since she last saw me in December. As she’s seen my skin free fall and then suffers since summer. God bless Allies of Skin. All their products are incredible. But this is the holy grail if your skin is irritated and problem laden.

Back again

So I decided to cut open the tube because without it you can't get anything out of the packaging. As I cleanser I'm not a fan, it's sticky so isn't great at taking makeup off but as a cleanser it is nice. It's good to use every day when you have clogged pores. Overall it is ok, I tend to use it on my forehead as and when I need to. Wouldn't really recommend it due to how expensive it is.

A great nightly cleanse for acne-prone skin

I bought this only because I loved everything else from this brand, and not because I needed a cleanser - I thought I had some lovely cleansers. I went in without any expectations. So this one actually performs as an oil cleanser as well as a clay cleanser. But because of the salicylic, I'm scared of stinging, and wouldn't dare to go at my waterproof mascara with salicylic, so I remove eye makeup with a micellar water first. That is my only gripe about this (they need to come out with a makeup remover that you can use on the eye area). I leave a thin layer on for two minutes all over the face (except the eyes), and then emulsified. It is very smooth and has no grits at all. It removes all makeup perfectly well, as well as any balm/oil cleanser (I've tried quite a few)! There is no residue at all. It completely negates the need for a second cleanse, and I can see that the bumps on my chin reduce with each use. After cleansing, your skin is left feeling like you used a nice clay cleanser, such as REN ClearCalm, or Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip. This brand takes such good care of problem skin and is worth every penny. Again, I wish they'd do a cleanser that you can use for eye makeup. As well as a Vitamin C, and a sunscreen.
