The embodiment of three main principles – effortlessness, speed and efficacy – Allies of Skin is back-to basics beauty for the modern 'multi-hyphenate'. Deafened by the ‘noise’ within the beauty industry, creator Nicolas Travis found shopping for products to treat his acne both intimidating and bewildering – so he decided to develop his own simple, suits-all ritual for tired, stressed and problematic skin types. Firm in his belief that skin care should empower, the three-step routine is straight-forward but phenomenally hard-working – protecting from pollution while hydrating and repairing to maintain skin’s health (and save you hassle).
The latest reincarnation of Allies of Skin's Molecular Saviour Mist, the all-new Molecular Saviour Probiotics Treatment Mist is supercharged with a powerful, rejuvenating blend of antioxidants, probiotics, niacinamide, silver, zinc and mango extract – meaning it’s effectively a nutrient and moisture reservoir.
With every spritz, Allies of Skin's Molecular Saviour Probiotics Treatment Mist infuses your complexion with toning, rejuvenating, hydrating and rebalancing ingredients to counteract signs of stress, fatigue and irritation as it soothes and protects from the damaging effects of everyday exposure to stress and pollutants.
Aqua (Water), Polysorbate 20, Niacinamide, Propanediol, Lactobacillus Ferment, Gluconolactone, Mangifera Indica Fruit Extract, Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate Filtrate, Yogurt, Zinc PCA, Bisabolol, Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract, Cucumis Sativus Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Cocodimonium Hydroxypropyl Silk Amino Acids, Silver, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Callus Culture Extract, Ergothioneine, Glutathione, Glycerin, Populus Tremuloides Bark Extract, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Chrysin, N-Hydroxysuccinimide, Glutamylamidoethyl Imidazole, Xanthan Gum, Calcium Gluconate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sorbic Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Gluconate, Steareth-20, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol.

Powerful stuff
I like this but it's probably too strong and spendy for daily use. On the positive side, I have experienced fewer breakouts and it's helping with hyperpigmentation, but I often need to follow up with a hydrating mask. There are better options available at a lower pricepoint.

Nice but not necessary?
I like this a lot but I think I use it more out of habit, ease of use and brand loyalty because most of my other products are by Allies as well. I like the size of it because it travels well but I’d say it’s definitely expensive for what it is and, if I were feeling strapped for cash, this is probably the Allies product I’d drop first.

Probiotic Mist
Really like this, feels like it almost ‘coats’ my skin with a protective layer before applying more product, can leave a tacky feeling to the skin but find that makes a great base for make up!

Great product
I bought this as a change from the biossance toner (which I love) and this hasn’t disappointed. Whilst I’m not sure I’ve seen any benefits over my other toner it’s lovely on my skin and maybe when I swap back that’s when I’ll realise! Enjoyed using it but for the difference in price I think I’ll go back to my other one unless I feel like it’s missing when it’s gone.

Not for me, unfortunately!
Unfortunately, this contained a few too many actives for me, which isn’t really what I wanted, and which my skin certainly didn’t enjoy – I used it two or three times and it turned my face red every time, so I just gave up after that! A shame as I also have the eye cream and the overnight retinol from AoS and I love them both…I’d just avoid this mist if your skin is at all sensitive. It’s also a bit of a mad price point for what it is IMO. It’s more than the Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator, which is my favourite.

Hydration!!
Need an intensely hydrating mist? This is it! Immediately, my skin is flooded with hydration and feels calmed and soothed. My skin feel so smooth, soft, plump, healthy, and has a gorgeous glow! It does have quite an aggressive spray so start small or pop some into your hands and press into the skin. Either way, your skin is going to love this!

The mist of my dreams
We all love a mist but Molecular Saviour Probiotics Treatment Mist feels like it is really doing good for my skin as well as instantly hydrating and calming my redness. The mist itself is quite intense and I love to layer this in between my products but my favourite way to apply it is by spraying it into my hands and then pressing this into the skin.

Impressive Ingredients!
The ingredients list and combination is so impressive, perfect for sensitive, sensitised and blemish-prone skin! The mister is pretty strong and you get a wide and even coverage not water get hitting one spot, so maybe you can even spray this into the hands and use more like a toner/serum and pat into the skin.

Game changer (for me anyway)
I used to consider facial mists as a nice little treat, but not really a necessary step in my skincare routine. My combination skin is quite well behaved, if treated correctly. I really want glowy skin, but what I have is unevenness and a general meh tone. However, after using this mist nightly for a while, I noticed a big improvement in the tone and texture of my skin. Hoped it was a coincidence so didn’t repurchase straight away, as it’s not exactly purse friendly. After a couple of weeks without it, it became obvious it had been responsible for my clear, even tone so it’s earned itself a permanent place on my bathroom shelf.
