MEET THE FOUNDER

This Champagne-infused Range is Skin Care for Your Hair

After being showered in champagne on her 21st birthday in Vegas (*goals*), {Cuvée Beauty} founder Rachel Katzman noticed an unexpected result: her hair looked fabulous, even better than it had after being professionally styled. To test out her theory, Rachel spritzed and styled her hair with champagne at home - decanted the good stuff into spray bottles to simulate her decadent dousing - only to notice the same, mane-changing benefits: shiny, luscious locks and a perfectly imperfect tousled texture.

Through this most glamorous turn of business inspiration, {Cuvée Beauty’s} indulgent proprietary complex (which super-charges every product in the range) was born. A potent concoction of premium ingredients, the complex features champagne extracts – the crème-de-la-crème, hence the 'cuvée' – to grant superior softness and vibrant shine. These are combined with rich white truffle extracts to add much-needed moisture, precious platinum extracts to detoxify hair and scalp, plus plant proteins to nourish and protect from UV rays.

Like luxurious skin care for your hair, the lavish line aims to improve the health of your scalp and strands, while imparting glamour with minimal effort. Glam without the glam squad? We’ll drink to that...

Inspired by the likes of Ms. Moss (and French girls everywhere), Rachel sought to develop a luxurious - yet straight-forward - line that would empower women to emulate that enviable, 'lived-in' look without an arsenal of products. "One shampoo, one conditioner... otherwise things get too complicated" says Rachel. "Women (and men!) should be able to achieve that post-salon texture themselves. It's a confidence thing! If your hair's great you feel great."

The standout starting point is Cuvée {Shampoo}, a gently lathering cleanser that fortifies and revitalises while enhancing shine. It infuses nutrients to clean and refresh, leaving a vibrant, glossy finish. Follow this with the concentrated restorative {Conditioner} to add weightless hydration and increase the manageability of your mane – concentrating on the ends if you have fine or flyaway lengths. The result is worthy of the most prestigious champagne soirée.

Bottling the unexpected frizz-fighting power of fizz, Cuvée’s signature {Champagne Spray} is the ultimate tool for achieving an insouciant, subtly textured effect (without 'crunch'). Simply spritz into wet or dry hair (twisting and scrunching as you see fit) to secure effortless, ‘French girl’ chic and you’re good to go.

Another of the brand’s hero products (and a firm favourite of founder Rachel) is {Première Treatment}. Like a multi-vitamin for the hair and scalp, this potent power-house contains a highly-concentrated dose of Cuvée’s premium champagne complex. It boosts the strength and elasticity of brittle, stressed-out strands, penetrating the hair shaft to lock in moisture and minimise the damage wrought by daily styling, chemical treatments and exposure to the sun.

Keen to have a taste of these champagne-infused hair heroes? The perfectly portable {Travel Kit} is an irresistible introduction to the range – as well as the ideal jet-setting partner. Containing a mini Shampoo, Conditioner and Styling Balm, we’ve got a sneaking suspicion you’ll be back for Jeroboams of these heavenly-scented hair heroes... transforming locks from roots to tip(sy).
