BENEFIT IS OUR BRAND OF THE MONTH!

Benefit TINT TALK BENETINT AND CHACHA TINT LIP AND CHEEK STAIN DUO SET

Benefit is our #BrandoftheMonth for November! Born in the U.S. of A., the make up favourite (and its tongue-in-cheek spirit) has brought smiles to faces from San Fran to Slough since the 70s. It was founded by twin sisters Jean and Jane Ford – a duo whose passion for food was matched only by make up (they couldn’t decide between owning a deli or launching a beauty boutique). So, thank the beauty deities that make up won the ‘coin toss’ and that Benefit was born.

Believing 'laughter is the best cosmetic' (hear, hear), this playful approach to cosmetics is woven into the Benefit heroes you know – and the products you’re yet to encounter. Anything but ordinary, fun is at the heart of every blusher, brow enhancer and mascara… which doesn’t detract from the brilliance of their formulas. Playful yet unfailingly high-performance (their range of brow gels, pencils and pomades are Britain’s favourite, after all), there’s a reason this brand resonates with so many beauty lovers.

Beginning its life as the ‘Face Place’ – a stand-alone store selling make up in San Francisco’s Mission District – Jean and Jane couldn’t have dreamed that their humble ‘beautique’ would become one of the biggest brands in the industry. A hot spot for those who wanted to not only to look but feel good, their reputation reached the ears of an exotic dancer looking for a nipple tint… a challenge the sisters were only too happy to rise to. Enter: Rose Tint – the product we now know as Benetint was first sold to make nips look pinker (who knew!?) and this pretty, petal-toned stain spawned a counter at Bendel’s (1990), then Harrods (1997) and in 1999, provoked luxury powerhouse LVMH to acquire this once humble make up shop.

Fast forward to today, and Benefit continues to be a mainstay in our make up bags. And, to celebrate Benefit as our Brand of the Month, we’re releasing two exclusive-to-Cult Beauty products.

The Tint Talk Benetint & ChaCha Tint Lip & Cheek Stain Duo Set (worth £35) features two full size Lip and Cheek stains. The iconic Benetint gives a rose-tinted flush and pout whereas the ChaCha Tint colours lips and cheeks in a juicy mango shade – so whether you opt for a rosy flush or a peach-perfect look, this pair will answer all party make up needs this season. Plus, both products are deeply hydrating, allowing all-day wear that’ll look as healthy and radiant as the moment you applied it.

Another new (and exclusive) offering is the California Sunshine Mini Highlighter & Blush Duo (worth £31). Uniting two fan favourites in one giftable duo, this palette is your new go-to for glowing on the go. First up, the beaming Sunny Warm Coral Powder Blusher boasts a weightless powder texture; this natural-matte formula lays on sunkissed colour with a soft-focus effect for radiant results. Next, the HoneyB Twinkle Highlighter provides a luminous, golden finish that’s buildable and blendable so you can create your perfect look.

Which begs the question, which of the seemingly limitless number of Benefit heroes do you count amongst your essentials? Are you hoopla for Hoola? Hands up who’s totally head-over-heels for They’re Real! or addicted to Precisely, My Brow's arch-boosting brilliance?
