Unleash Your Inner Unicorn With BECCA’s Latest Luminiser

If part of you is still a little obsessed with My Little Pony, unicorns and Jem and the Holograms (*nods frantically*) then you’re going to be all agog with this latest make up offering from {BECCA} - whose products are world-renowned for their ability to light up skin like a Christmas morning.

Their Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed highlighters are stuff of legend, and their latest instalment is tipped to be just as sought-after. The new {Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in ‘Prismatic Amethyst’} is a jewel of a product: the stunning chrome-violet compact will not only provoke admiring glances when plucked from a purse – but the soft lavender powder within looks utterly incredible.

The pale gold, violet and rose pearls shift in colour depending on the light, granting an otherworldly holographic allure to cheekbones and brow bone (think Jennifer Connelly in 'Labyrinth'). Ideal if you’re after a hint of highlighter - apply it with a fan brush for a subtle daytime effect - or with a flat contour brush for a more statement strobed look. This will wake up a complexion, flatter your skin and give you perfectly polished make up befitting Beyoncé.

Although the shade gives us all the 80s nostalgia feels, the texture of this powder is definitely for the grown ups. Devoid of sparkle or shimmer, the velvety formula grants skin a subtle lustre and delivers a buttery finish that doesn’t cake or flake off throughout the day.

As well as flattering the face, it looks gorgeous dusted on collarbones and shoulders too. Other ways to use it are to layer over your eyeshadow to add an extra shimmer, dot in the centre of your lipstick or create a jaw-dropping liner look with a brush dipped in a little water. We'll see you in the queue...
