HOW TO

HOW TO: PICK THE PERFECT ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS CONTOUR KIT

Because there's a bit of confusion surrounding who needs which {Anastasia Beverly Hills} {contour} kit - and because most of you could actually benefit from owning both - we asked Anastasia's gorgeous daughter, ABH brand ambassador and Instagram sensation Claudia {

} to share her pearls of sculpting wisdom...

"{Pro Series Contour Kit} and {Pro Series Contour Cream Kit} can be used separately, or layered together to create a multitude of make up looks. Thanks to their sheer, buildable formulas they give you the versatility to create subtle or dramatic contours and {highlights}.

"Cream formulas grant skin a natural, dewy glow that looks luminous in every light. They work best when applied on top of liquid foundation and concealer, and can be smoothed over skin with synthetic brushes, sponges (we recommend the {Beautyblender}) or even your fingertips. They're suitable for all skin types but especially those with dry complexions - if shine is a concern in certain areas, just dust a translucent finishing powder on top.

"The powder {Contour Kit} includes blendable, finely-milled shades with matte and luminous finishes. The matte highlighters can be used to control shine, while the shimmer highlighters give a luminous glow to the {complexion}. They're equally suitable for all skin types - it's a matter of personal preference - but these are particularly great if you have normal to oily complexions; just apply with a fluffy powder brush (we recommend {this one} by Sigma Brushes)

"Our kits are designed to be used together. You can start with the cream highlight and contour shades, and layer corresponding shades from the powder {Contour Kit} on top to build intensity and create three-dimensional contours. If you're concerned about shine, use the cream {contours} only on the cheeks, and {powder} contours in the t-zone. You can also use the powders to eradicate shine throughout the day."
