Taking its name from the French plural article used for both masculine and feminine nouns and the acronym of NYC's vibrant Lower East Side, this candle is a cross-cultural exploration of scents – one that plays with the tart tang of fresh black currant and the warm woodiness of white cedar. An ode to the eclecticism of New York and the experimental individualism that the city is known for, this effortlessly cool scent captures the olfactory experience of walking through a bustling back street, taking in notes of rice powder, peach blossom, cardamom, black currant, cedar and Asian pear, to name just a few.

For optimal burning, trim wicks to a ¼” before each light to avoid smoking and overheating. Once the flame is extinguished make sure the wick is upright and centred. The first burn of any candle should be long enough for the entire top layer of wax to liquify. This will ensure an even burn for each light. Refrain from burning candles longer than three hours at a time, and never burn a candle when there is less than ¼” of wax at the base. Always protect the surface on which the candle sits.
