DISCOVER DEODOC

Awarded WWD Wellness Power Player in June 2021, DeoDoc is renowned for revolutionising the self care space. As one of the first intimate care brand founded and run by women, it prides itself on authenticity and solving personal problems. Giving your most delicate areas the TLC they deserve, the Swedish house dreams up everything form wipes and washes to oils, balms and more.

THE STORY BEHIND DEODOC

DeoDoc’s story began when Hasti Asadi went to her sister, Dr Hedieh, for some advice when she was experiencing intimate odour. While her OB/GYN told her there was nothing she could do about it, her sister did some research and discovered the same sweat glands found in armpits also exist on the vulvar. Taking this new information to her previous professor, Dr Gunvor, they quickly discovered that the market for intimate care had not evolved for over 40 years... And thus, DeoDoc was born.

POWERED BY MEDICAL EXPERTISE

Co-founded by the Asadi sisters in collaboration with Dr Gunvor, DeoDoc is steeped in medical expertise. Don’t believe us? Just take a look at the latter's CV and you’ll see what we mean. Dr Gunvor has been at the forefront of improving women’s health for over 50 years. And, as if that wasn’t enough, her research resulted in inventing not one, but two, new drugs – one proven to provide pain relief during childbirth and another acting as an anaesthetic gel that reduces pain during interventions in the uterus and cervix area.
