Expensive but beautiful
Absolutely love this serum from Cle de Peau. It is expensive but you really do get what you pay for. Lovely for mature skin and sits well under makeup.

So lightweight
Firstly, the packaging is beyond beautiful and looks great sitting on my shelf. The scent of the product is dreamy, with a subtle floral sweetness. The serum itself it extremely lightweight, just like water, and melts into the skin immediately. My skin is flooded with hydration and left with a beautiful plump glow! Luxury paired with results - I would definitely recommend.

As light as air
This is really the most lightweight serum I've used in a while, it feels like water on the skin and absorbs beautifully, and instantly awakens tired skin. I love the instant glow this gives my skin and the smell honestly brings me back to watching my Nana doing her skincare and makeup every morning; this has that classic old school smell that feels so luxurious and comforting. If you're sensitive to fragrance this might be too much for you so I'd advise against this if you have a history of sensivity to fragranced products. Layered with the Hydro Softening Lotion this is such a beautiful blend and makes my skin look so fresh and awake, layering beautifully with makeup as well. I like to finish with a layer of hyaluronic acid after these two before going in with my moisturiser to really lock everything in.

Lots of Thoughts
First of all, I didn't want to love this but I did, as a skincare lover I spend far too much already on products and this enchanted me like the sirens ... queue the relentless desire to try La Creme now. My skin looks lovely after using this and omg did I feel special, one thing Cle de Peau as perfected and bottled is their products making you feel like Royalty back in the day when they thought that some divinity from Olympus or the Du'at flowed through their viens. However, I find that it does have too much alcohol dent. that is not really necessary as I live in the UK so the heat and humidity that makes this ingredient helpful doesn't really come into play. But if you like something that immediately soaks into the skin this is perfect.
