Place the concave side of the brush at the root base of your lashes. Sweep upwards by wiggling the brush from root to tip in order to 'film-coat' each lash. Then use fibers on the tip of the brush to add to the tips of your lashes until they reach the desired length. In order to lengthen upper and lower lashes at hard-to-reach corners, hold the brush vertically and use the tip to add fibers. For your lower lashes, use the protruding side of the brush by wiggling it from side to side.

Didn't work for me
I just found that this did nothing for my lashes. I didn't see that it added any volume or length like some of my favourite mascaras do. Disappointing.

No good for me
I've used the djv volumiser mascara for some years now and it was brilliant, gave me great lashes, no smudging and washed off easily but suddenly became unobtainable so I tried this one. I found it really poor, added a bit of length but no volume and the fibres fell on my face! Really disappointing, so now I have to do the perfect mascara search all over again.

Perfect
My favourite mascara! I have hooded eyes so most mascaras end up rubbing off onto my eyelids after 20 minutes but this one stays put. It looks really black and doesn't clump together and makes lashes look perfect - great for every day. Also, this is really easy to wash off and can be washed off with just water without leaving black all over your eyes. I wouldn't use any other mascara.

The best mascara
I used to work in the magazine industry, so I've tried almost every mascara. They all leave smudges and never survive after a long day at the office. This one is a bit too liquid-y first but in a couple of days it becomes perfect. You can sleep with it on (you should never but it happens) and it stays. And you can take it off with lukewarm water if you run out of eye makeup remover.

No more smudging!
Yesss! Of course longer, thicker lashes are what we are all after but for me the added benefit of a mascara that does not run, or smudge each time I laugh or cry was a stand out reason to buy and it does not disappoint! (perfect for the wedding season!)

Still not The One
I'm still looking for the perfect mascara. Had high hopes this might be it, but no. I find it smudgy and clumsy to apply, and although it did give me length; there's not much volume; and the fibres were annoyingly obvious, waving around at the ends of my lashes. I wanted to love it, but it wasn't to be.

Liking this one
Found this mascara better than the Volume version for my short, straight Asian lashes. This departs lengthening fibres but does not weigh lashes down. I do need to wipe the excess off the wand sometimes to avoid clumping but not as much as the volume lash. Got this as part of the Summer Goody bag and probably would not have tried it otherwise but would definitely consider re-purchasing in the future.

Simply the best
I was worried that the hype and promises would not be met. I was dead wrong. It the first mascara I have EVER used (and I've tried a good few over the years) that leaves no traces whatsoever under the eye or smudging even at the end of a long day. Goes on beautifully with zero clumps and comes off with no fuss. It's so good I can't believe more people don't know about it!!

My HG Mascara
I have short and sparse lashes and this is the only mascara which makes them look longer curlier - without having that awful clumped, artificial, spiderleg look. Yes, I'm telling that after testing all big guns out there during the last 25 years... I'm really not a makeup pro, but this thing is easy to use and I simply don't understand the negative reviews - it's really difficult to make magic with my lashes, but Fiberwig did it !
