A little smokey, a little masculine and very cosy, the candle evokes the comfort and romance of curling up in front of the fire with a good book (even if your city flat most certainly doesn’t feature a fireplace!)

Like settling in front of a gently roaring fire to chat with loved ones or get lost in a novel, D.S. & Durga’s Portable Fireplace Candle evokes the warmth, comfort and peace of open flames, wherever you are.

Encased in peach tinted glass with a monochrome illustration that captures quite perfectly the spirit of its scent, each of D.S. & Durga’s evocative candles is designed to look chic on your mantlepiece while it transports you to a moment in time. This warm, relaxing scent features a carefully balanced woody mix, with top notes of dwarf pine wood and atlas cedar, heart notes of smoke, oak ash and cedar and base notes of birch, birch tar and copaiba resin. Light the wick, take a deep breath and enjoy a moment of calm.

It is important to trim wick before each use. When using the candle for the first time, keep the candle alight until the entire surface is covered in liquid wax. This should take approximately one hour and will ensure a more effective, even burn for all future uses.
