Everybody in the Cult's getting tipsy! Serious skin, hair and body care heroes that don't take themselves super seriously, Drunk Elephant's rise to the top of the industry pops has been (rightfully!) meteoric. Founded by Tiffany Masterson who wanted to formulate products without any 'fillers', this all-star collection is powered by biocompatible actives – a mix of synthetic and plant-derived extracts – that skin recognises and knows what to do with. And, because of their ingredient-elimination philosophy, you won't find any of the following 'Suspicious 6' – drying alcohols, silicones, SLS, chemical screens, essential oils or fragrances/dyes – so you can 'reset' your complexion and help both your skin and your tresses to flourish like never before.

Formulated with both hair and scalp in mind, Cocomino Glossing Shampoo is a sulphate-free, colour-safe blend of coconut-based surfactants to gently foam, lift away dirt and stubborn styling products without drying, damaging the hair shaft or stripping colour.
Introducing Drunk Elephant's all-new and utterly must-have hair and body range, created by the brand's CEO, Tiffany because "Skin is skin - and whether we call it the scalp or the eye area or the legs, it can only function at its healthiest when it's treated with smart, nourishing, skin-compatible ingredients. All skin deserves to be respected with ingredients it can get along with." Created in collaboration with professional hair stylist - and creator of 'The Rachel' haircut - Chris McMillan, together they created a line of hair care that focuses on the scalp - products that dissolve years of buildup while nourishing hair with biocompatible proteins and oils. The rest just grew from there. Nice
The smell is like marzipan, so it’s the closest you’ll get to a fragrance free shampoo. It does detangle the hair well enough. It’s not drying and the packaging is lovely. It wasn’t enough for my thick hair, so I went for their mega-moisture range.

Smells great, thin consistency
Doesn’t lather well but then, it’s not meant to cause it’s full of good stuff. Smells really nice (like almonds I think). Not in a rush to repurchase but if someone gifted me it, I’d be quite pleased

Nice
Didn’t foam up much, took a second wash to feel really clean but was very nice and gentle. Felt as though I wasn’t using anything too chemically on my hair which was nice. Not sure about repurchasing though as didn’t wow me.

My favourite shampoo
It foams up so well (you just have to know how to use it, by wetting the hair thoroughly first and then using damp hands to apply the shampoo to the hair). It smells of faint sweet almond which I adore. A bottle lasts a long time. It hydrates, softens and gives volume to the hair. My hair feels so nice after for a few days

Great Shampoo!
Used with the Cocomino Marula Cream Conditioner - great combination. My hair gets pretty oily and I work in London, so need a shampoo that is going to really clean my hair. My hair feels clean, whilst feeling nourished and is left with a beautiful glossy finish. It lathers well (which I love) and has the classic Drunk Elephant almond scent - which I adore!

Go-to shampoo
It took me a while to figure out how to use this, but since then it is the only shampoo I use (and my boyfriend swears by it too). Because it doesn't lather, I work it into my hair in stages (I have fairly long hair). My hair was also flat and greasy when I started using this, but I figured out this was because I wasn't actually getting the shampoo to every inch of my scalp due to it not lathering (so my hair was just unclean...). The shampoo makes my hair soft and strong and the smell is very subtle but divine. A little goes a long way so I think it's good value for money. It's the first SLS-free shampoo that I've been able to stick with and I hope DE never discontinue it!

Love it!
I have fine hair that is slightly oily, and this shampoo is gentle but still cleans my hair well. It’s really good! the only downside is the terrible sweet almond scent.
