Grandson to Serge Heftler-Louche – friend of couturier Christian Dior and the founder of M. Dior’s range of fine fragrances – Frédéric Malle grew up with the concept of scent as the ultimate luxury – not to mention a lifetime companion. A ‘perfume publisher’, Frédéric collaborates with some of the world’s most esteemed perfumers to elevate and celebrate the art of fragrance formulation – rejecting convention to cultivate scents that surprise and delight with their difference. With profound knowledge of every step of perfumery – from creation to composition, manufacturing to packaging design – Frédéric has built an eponymous range that is thoughtful, evocative, timeless and elegant; consider these the ‘classics’ of the future.
Lather up in a tub laced with Frédéric Malle's Carnal Flower Body Wash - an opulent wash that creates the most lavish lather while subtly cloaking your skin with its signature scent. Perfect for layering under your favourite fragrance to increase the intensity (and extend its longevity).
As intoxicating as its name suggests, Frédéric Malle’s Carnal Flower blooms from delicate beginnings to a dark, seductive heart. Shy to begin with, this multi-faceted fragrance is an ode to awakening – evolving from the bashful notes of water fruits (melon) and citrus leaves which lend a verdant freshness, to the heady thrum of tuberose that gives this scent its sensuous appeal. An emblem of forbidden pleasure, this tantalising flower has a depth and mystery that is forbidden to young women in some cultures – believed to have the power to intoxicate the senses. With coconut to add a subtle lightness, and camphora to quieten the ‘noise’ of these opulent blooms, the muse for the fragrance was Frédéric’s aunt (the famous French actress Candice Bergen), who played in the film Carnal Knowledge alongside Jack Nicholson. Voluptuous and decadent, this scent is ruby velvet, black satin and the thrill of an illicit tryst…

Sexiest scent ever!
My husband has expensive taste when it comes to aftershave and he's used most of the high end names (Creed, Tom Ford, Penhaligons etc) this is by far the best and gets the most comments. The actual fragrance is very strong on its own but this sets it off perfectly and makes for a lovely gift.
