Using improved ceramic heat technology and snag-free floating plates, these glide effortlessly through tresses to deliver the optimum temperature of 185ºC – ghd’s team of scientists concluded that cooler temperatures deliver poorer styling results while hotter ones can cause irreversible, unnecessary hair damage. A round barrel allows for versatile styling, particularly when creating curls, while a staggering 30 second heat up time is a God send on busy mornings. For peace of mind, the device automatically switches off after 30 minutes and a universal voltage makes it the perfect travel companion. Good hair all day, every day? Sounds like a no-brainer to us…

Before use, spritz your hair generously with heat protectant. We recommend ghd heat protect spray. Once the Straightener has heated, use it to straighten, curl or create waves.
Leave the Straightener to cool, then fold the cord in the same way as it arrived in the original packaging. Where possible, avoid wrapping it around the body of the Styler or hanging it by the cord as this could cause damage.

Great so far!
Finally got this as had always listed after it! Seems great so far and I really love how you can curl your hair easily with the rounded barrel (which is what I bought it for). Tongs seem to be too hard for me to use in the mirror and I always end up burning myself so these are perfect and even I can curl my hair!

GHD brand speaks for itself, they are a great straightener. I have fine hair but with a good quality heat protectant it's not damaged my hair and keeps the style so much longer than just blow drying. Also calms strays. Only reason they didn't get 5 is they are very light, maybe I'm so used to my old heavier pair but to me it felt cheap.
