Honestly, I just don’t get the hype around KAYALI Yum Pistachio Gelato 33. I was really excited to try it, especially with all the buzz surrounding it, but to me, it just smells like straight alcohol with a faint hint of sweetness. I can’t really pick up the pistachio or the creamy gelato notes that everyone raves about. What I get instead is a sharp, almost synthetic alcohol scent that makes it hard to enjoy the fragrance. I kept hoping the pistachio would come through more, but it’s very subtle—if it’s even there at all. I think it might be a great scent for people who love sweet gourmand fragrances, but for me, it’s not quite hitting the mark. I also feel like it lacks the depth and complexity I was expecting from a fragrance at this price point. It’s not a complete miss, but for the hype and price, I was expecting more of that gelato-like sweetness and nuttiness. Sadly, this one just isn’t for me.

This is a nice girly summery scent. To me, this isn’t very pistachio focused ( there isn’t much nutty saltiness here), but rather a creamy, lactonic fragrance. Easy to wear, simple fairly linear scent. 3.5/5 as the performance is quite poor, barely detectable after a couple hours.
