Inspired by her DNA scientist father and her childhood spent on a sheep farm, Lanolips’ founder Kirsten Carriol developed Ultra Medical Grade lanolin, an odourless, colourless and non-sticky ointment that mimics skin oils to restore moisture. The perfect foil for dry, sensitive hands, Lanolips’ Lemon Hand Cream Intense is a gift from the skin care gods. Boosted with triple lanolin and nourishing lemon peel oil, this intense cream deeply hydrates and nourishes hands in need (it also works as a brilliant foot cream too!) We, along with a devoted global cult following, have awarded it 'Holy Grail' status.
Are you yet to find a good-to-skin hand cream that nourishes sensitive, cracked and dry hands that doesn’t sting or leave a sticky residue? Well, let us introduce you to Lanolips’ multi-award-winning Lemon Hand Cream Intense, a lemon peel oil-infused cocoon-like formula that will refresh skin while restoring moisture. Boasting a triple lanolin formula (lanolin is this brand’s secret ingredient that mimics your own skin oils to restore moisture unlike anything else) combined with rich shea, cocoa, grape oil and vitamin E, this is a deeply nourishing and hydrating cream that leaves a non-sticky veil that continually moisturises skin throughout the day. It’s also available in {Coconutter Hand Cream Intense} and {Rose Hand Cream Intense} formulations, so you can choose your favourite from the scent selection – or collect them all.

Well I love it
I’ve used a lot of hand creams and I fancied trying this because I was taken by the whole range. I squeeze a good dollop on my hand and work it across both hands and it sinks right in if you ask me, no greasy slippyness! It’s April 2020 and we are all washing our hands a lot right now so I’ve just come back for the coconut as I’m not mad keen on rose and I fancied a change from the subtle lemon in this. I also tried the everywhere cream which is a similar formula I think and I’m also loving. Hope this helps! No more expensive L'occitaine or the like because those are just to slippery!

Sticky & smells funny after a while
I had high expectations for this handcream. I had products with lanolin oil before and it does amazing things for my skin and I also love anything lemon scented or flavoured. This smells like lemon dessert which is pleasant in itself but on the hands it smells like you haven’t washed your hands from eating lemon meringue pie with your hands :/ The smell becomes yucky after a while. Upon application it was very sticky and feels waxy and not absorbed at all although I do feel that the feeling goes away after a while. Overall not a product I will ever rebuy or recommend to anyone. I’l stick to my drugstore japan brand handcreams.
