The revolutionary design is built around LARQ's proprietary PureVis„ technology that harnesses UV-C light to eradicate germs by triggering a photochemical reaction that destroys their DNA it's a common sterilising in hospitals today! Another world-first, this technology makes the bottle the only mercury-free portable water sanitization system - we're always a fan of brands that forgo toxic chemicals (obviously!). As well as purifying water in 60 seconds when you press the button, it also activates on its own every two hours to keep your water and bottle clean. It's double-wall insulated - it keeps water cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 - and powered by a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that lasts up to 1 month off of one charge, based on estimated usage of 3-4 cycles a day. Press the LARQ Bottle cap once to activate it and in 60 seconds you'll have pure water to drink.
Travel Mode deactivates Self-Cleaning Mode and is recommended if you are storing your LARQ Bottle for an extended period of time or to conserve battery life.
Normal Mode is a 1-minute cleaning cycle and delivers 12 mJ/cm^2 of UVC to the water and the inner surface of the bottle. Tap the button on the cap once to activate the cycle. Its the right choice for daily use if your water is from a trustworthy source. In Adventure Mode, the LARQ Bottle delivers a higher dose of UVC: >30 mJ/cm^2. Activate this 3-minute cycle by double-tapping the button on the cap. Its a good choice if youre not sure about the quality of your water or you just want extra peace of mind.
Charging: The LARQ Bottle can be recharged via Micro-USB. It is located on the side of the cap. A charging cable is included with your LARQ Bottle.

Worth it
I bought this as a gift for my son last Xmas, half expecting to be told that it was no different to a cheaper one, but he was delighted with it. He likes the fact that it keeps the water cold and clean and that it does not require a filter and he now doesn’t go anywhere without it. It is expensive but worth it if you drink a lot of water.

Yes this bottle is expensive but it has definitely been worth it for me. It keeps my water cold and fresh, and because it has the UV filter system, the bottle doesn't get as stinky. It can dent quite easily if dropped or knocked but I've had mine with dents in for around 3/4 years now and it stills works like brand new!

A surprisingly great water bottle
I honestly had low expectations for this bottle but wow did it prove me wrong. I used it for travelling Asia where the water is definitely suspicious and it worked wonders. I also did not have to charge it once the whole month I was away. Well worth the price tag if you’re going away to somewhere with potentially dirty water.

Great water bottle
It’s an expensive product there is no other way to say it!! Haven’t said that you really can feel the quality of it as soon as you unpack the bottle!! Bought it for traveling in Asia which hopefully will do the work in cleaning the water. I genuinely feel that water taste nicer and there is certainly no stinky smell that you usually get from all these type of water bottles.
