The revolutionary design is built around LARQ's proprietary PureVis„ technology that harnesses UV-C light to eradicate germs by triggering a photochemical reaction that destroys their DNA it's a common sterilising in hospitals today! Another world-first, this technology makes the bottle the only mercury-free portable water sanitization system - we're always a fan of brands that forgo toxic chemicals (obviously!). As well as purifying water in 60 seconds when you press the button, it also activates on its own every two hours to keep your water and bottle clean. It's double-wall insulated - it keeps water cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 - and powered by a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that lasts up to 1 month off of one charge, based on estimated usage of 3-4 cycles a day. Press the LARQ Bottle cap once to activate it and in 60 seconds you'll have pure water to drink.

Travel Mode deactivates Self-Cleaning Mode and is recommended if you are storing your LARQ Bottle for an extended period of time or to conserve battery life.

Normal Mode is a 1-minute cleaning cycle and delivers 12 mJ/cm^2 of UVC to the water and the inner surface of the bottle. Tap the button on the cap once to activate the cycle. Its the right choice for daily use if your water is from a trustworthy source. In Adventure Mode, the LARQ Bottle delivers a higher dose of UVC: >30 mJ/cm^2. Activate this 3-minute cycle by double-tapping the button on the cap. Its a good choice if youre not sure about the quality of your water or you just want extra peace of mind.

Charging: The LARQ Bottle can be recharged via Micro-USB. It is located on the side of the cap. A charging cable is included with your LARQ Bottle.
