Just the tonic for dull skin, this skin care stick uses a potent blend of actives to reveal a brilliantly brighter-looking complexion. Alongside its hero ingredient of 15% vitamin C, this hitmaker uses 1% alpha arbutin (extracted from the bearberry plant... sounds cute!), to lessen the appearance of blemishes, scars and dark spots, whilst 0.5% ferulic acid decreases the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Unusual but not bad
I read a lot if reviews complaining that the stick texture is greasy, and I can see why customers would say this. I think that if you overapply and rub the serum in, it will likely give you a little greasiness and it may also lead to pilling under other skincare and make-up. However, I believe you need to swipe lightly and then, instead of rubbing, you need to pat the serum into the skin! Also, apply on completely dry skin and wait a couple of minutes before applying following moisturiser or spf. Essentially, let the stick serum seep into the skin. By following these steps, I've found this vitamin C stick serum works perfectly well for me. That said, I don't know how this would feel on skin during summer months and hot climate. My skin is sensitive/combo.
