Medik8’s mission is simple - beautiful skin for life - which is why they consistently harness new, youth-boosting breakthroughs to keep your skin stronger for longer with three key technologies: vitamin C, sunscreen and vitamin A. High-end formulations at purse-friendly prices, this attainable range means you don’t need to choose between pounds and performance: the CSA method (C in the morning, followed by sunscreen then vitamin A in the evening) makes beautiful skin über easy – simplifying your daily regime while fast-tracking your path to a healthy complexion. What’s more, the brand is committed to making sustainable changes – from ethical sourcing to minimal waste – so your beauty routine is as clean as your conscience.
With immediate brightening impact, Medik8’s Illuminating Eye Balm works to counteract the tell-tale signs of tiredness and help you ‘fake awake’ when you’ve been burning too much midnight oil…
A multitasking balm with subtle, light-diffusing pigments to disguise the dreaded darkness and revitalise your eyes, the silky texture glides across your fragile skin to nourish and replenish precious moisture. With line-smoothing multi-weight hyaluronic acid alongside red algae extract to counteract puffiness, this Illuminating Eye Balm is a godsend on the morning’s when the ‘ding’ of your alarm feels far too early. Plus, the addition of calming, refreshing, awakening cucumber extract is great for dispelling the dry, itchy impact of too-little-shut-eye (or too many cocktails), while glycerin draws and retains aqua vit-eye to plump and leave delicate skin feeling supple and soft.

Great, but yet to convince me completely
This is a great product that can truly help the tired look of undereyes, but you need to learn to apply it properly - this is more of a solid texture than your average eye cream. That's also probably part of why it is so economical to use it.

Eye cream
This is lovely but it has a colour to it so watch it in your eyebrows and don’t use too much because otherwise it piles up and folds into your creases

On the fence
I’m still trying to make this one work - I find it slightly drying and it migrates into my eyes and I find it can create a weird white build up in the corners of my eyes, however that could be the reaction of my watery eyes. My eyes are very sensitive hence the migration being an issue. So why am a persevering? Well it does brighten and add a glow in a very subtle way, after two weeks of use my under eyes have improved - must be all the skin care goodness. I’m using less and being careful not to take anywhere near the water line whilst I continue to make my mind up.

Comfortable eye balm
Had no big expectations before buying it, but wanted a nice balm to prep the skin under the eyes before makeup. For me, it works very well as a primer under the eyes. It is tinted but doesn’t cover any darkness, I use it to hydrate and smooth my skin before applying concealer and I like how it goes! Concealer’s application is easier, skin doesn’t dry, makeup stays there for a long time. Like it!
