With their tried-and-tested ‘CSA philosophy’ – a hard-working marriage between vitamin C with sunscreen by day, and vitamin A by night – Medik8 seeks to create simple routines that result in healthy, ‘beautiful skin for life’. Aimed at mature skin to maintain a more youthful complexion, the goal is to uncloak the mystery surrounding anti-ageing skin care with results-driven products that don’t compromise on ethics. Using a concentrated dose of patented oxyresveratrol (or oxy-R) technology to revamp dull and uneven skin tones, the White Balance Brightening Serum also harnesses stabilised vitamin C and turmeric root extract to efficiently resurface and rejuvenate without the need for retinoids.
Aiming to provide visible results within just two weeks of use, the White Balance Brightening Serum uses patented oxyresveratrol (or oxy-R) – an ingredient that’s naturally found in mulberry plants – to illuminate dull and uneven skin. Intelligently working by blocking the production of melanin, skin looks radiant and illuminated – lifting your complexion as well as your spirits.
The potent 0.5% dose of oxy-R is supercharged with 20% ethylated L-ascorbic acid – a strong and stable form of the much-lauded vitamin C. While this boosts the effects of oxy-R, it also ensures protection from UV rays and free-radicals, all while blocking pigment formation too! Combine this keen couple with turmeric root extract, and the result is a noticeably illuminated complexion. This is thanks to the pigment-blocking properties of turmeric, which also joins vitamin C in providing stunning antioxidant protection. Provided in two bottles to ensure the formula is kept exceptionally fresh, the Medik8 Click technology only releases oxy-R into the serum at the very last moment – allowing for prolonged potency that gives reliable results every time.

Very good Vitamin C product
I have just used 1 little bottle and for now, I really enjoy this product. Leaves the skin plumped and healthy. I don’t see much of the effect for my hyperpigmentation, but I think it’s too early. I will continue to use this product.
