Hailed as a true skin care visionary (he was one of the first to use acids in skin care), Dr. Murad has distilled his expertise into a comprehensive range of potent formulas to target every common skin concern – from dark spots to lost elasticity, no beauty woe has escaped his attention. Firm in his belief that healthy skin is integral to healthy mind and body, his targeted treatments prolong skin's resilience – keeping it stronger for longer so you look enduringly luminous.
A potent antioxidant to shield against the damage wrought by everyday aggressors as it works to lessen dark spots and recover luminosity, vitamin C both protects and perfects your complexion.
Starring stabilised vitamin C alongside resurfacing glycolic acid and phyto-luminesent extracts (which transform UV into a source of light that radiates for a 'lit from within' look), Murad's Vita-C Glycolic Brightening Serum wages multi-pronged attack on dulled, uneven and blemished skin. Gently melting the glue that binds dulling dead cells to the surface, this revitalising serum works to instantly enliven as it clears a path for the vitamin C to penetrate – meaning maximum potency for rapid results. A super-charged option for those who are keen to diminish sun damage or lessen residual, post-blemish scarring, this 360˚ treatment restores luminosity, both instantly and over time for cumulative, unifying benefit. And best of all? The serum is now available is a handy travel size, for the ultimate glow-on-the-go.

Just meh...
I'm on the search for the perfect Vit C serum (for me, because we're all different!) and sadly this one is just not it. It's not a bad product, it's just not that great either. Pro's: It comes in an airtight, opaque container, so no risk of oxidisation and UV exposure. It's available in a travel size, so ideal to try before committing to a full-size bottle. It applies nicely and doesn't have an issue layering with my other products. Con's: It doesn't smell great. It doesn't say the percentage of the active Vitamin C (so no idea the strength of the product), and the ascorbic acid features some way down the ingredients list. Lastly, the main ingredient is glycolic acid, which is fine if you want an 'all in one' but it does make this product a strong acid overall, whereas I'd rather a pure Vit C product and I'll add acids to my skincare routine as needed. This is an expensive product for what it is and I think there are better products out there.
