Exfoliate your lips prior to application to ensure they're super-smooth (and slightly plumped). Use the doe-foot applicator for a seamless application, allowing the first coat to dry for five minutes, before applying your second - you can build coverage or layer different shades to achieve the desired finish.

Could Be Better Could Be Worse
These are great for mixing in with other lipsticks, for custom colours or to lightly dab on top of another lipstick for a bit more dimension, they are weightless on the lips and have a fairly nice texture but that’s about where the praises end for me. Now for the not so great bits, they can be quite streaky so thin application is needed and make sure to not press lips together until it’s more dried down (these are not matte liquid lipsticks so will not fully dry down) otherwise they will go patchy, they really emphasise and settle in to any lines/creases on the lips and will absolutely cling on to any dry patches, the longevity isn’t the best and if you drink often or eat often, I can’t see these lasting longer than maybe a couple of hours max. Overall, I do really like these for mixing in with other lipsticks, which is why I continue to purchase them, but as a standalone product I’m not much of a fan.
