You’ve all seen American Beauty… this candle is Mena Suvari immersed in a bath of not red, but pink petals. Pretty and fresh (with a come-hither wink), Nympholia’s fuel for romantic imaginings.
With notes of crisp cotton, lily of the valley, rose and orange blossom water, this candle is pure and subversive – a clean summer breeze and a sheer, gauzy slip dress. Think: polaroid snapshots and long, lazy Sundays; wildflowers foraged from hedgerows and green, verdant notes on the warm summer air; a Sophia Coppola film caught on Super 8 film. De-light-fully complex and housed in a signature, dusty pink jar, each hand-tinted candle is made from sustainably sourced rapeseed wax and has a 50-60 hour burn time. Then once it’s done? The chic glass makes a stylish home for poseys, pens or cotton rounds.

Nudesse was out of stock
So I opted for nympholia instead not really knowing what expect. The packaging is luxe first off. And while I prefer nudesse this has a similar heady rose bouquet. Makes a great gift.

Nice but not my favourite
I've tried a lot of Overose candles and have yet to find one that I dislike. This one is nice but it's a like rather than a love. I don't find it as unique or powerful as other scents from the brand

Never met an Overose I didn’t like.
Each of the Overose candles are unique and layered scents which fill the whole house. I have one either side of my bed and I often wake up to the scent even if they haven’t been lit for weeks. I do wish they did different colour vessels too though, the pink and holo’s are fine for a girly space but I’d like something a little more elegant for the lounge.
