From the Hydration Edit
Very ironic that I got this in the Hydration Edit, considering that it didn’t hydrate my hair & in fact made it feel dry & tangled. As bad as the awful matching shampoo. If you’re looking for a duo to make your hair dry, matted & frizzy then look no further! As a bonus, it also smells like mildew.

Even worse than the shampoo
I've never used a conditioner that didn't condition until I tried this. Even cheap supermarket products make your hair at least feel better. Used in conjunction with the shampoo my hair was the worst it's ever been, used with a different shampoo it's not much better. My hair was rougher, more tangled & then frizzy once dried. Also the weird smell is off putting. Their serums and treatments are really good, but the shampoo and conditioner are awful.

Nice feeling hair
I like how is my hair feels after using it but I missing perfume in it. Luckily I use oil after so my hair smells nice. I think it helps with greasy hair as I can survive nearly 2 days before I need to wash again

Do not recommend
Before trying this conditioner, I thought that people leaving negative reviews for it are overreacting. Nope, they aren't. I have nothing good to tell about this product! The smell is unpleasant and it stays on your hair for long - I did manage to partially block it out with my other much better smelling hair care products, but some slight smell still remained. Someone in the reviews mentioned that the smell reminds them about pet food - to me pet food smells much better, to be honest. It smells like mildew to me. Okay, let's talk about performance: it made my hear both weighted and dehydrated. It's the weirdest combination because it was tabled and sticking together. And yes, I didn't use too much. I did manage to figure out how to use it up and keep my hair presentable: after shampooing, I use a hair mask and keep it for around 5 mins, after I wash it off, I apply the conditioner very sparingly, massage into the hair for a minute or two and wash it off. I'm pretty happy that I got a travel version (in one of the edits), so it shouldn't take much time to use it up.

Disappointing
I found this product quite disappointing. It doesn't make my hair feel conditioned, just heavy and like it needs another wash. I had wanted to try this for a while but I won't be repurchasing and wouldn't recommend for anyone with thick, wavy hair.

I don’t know why it smells like dry pet food.
I didn’t mind the shampoo that matches this, the smell wasn’t offensive & it worked for me. The conditioner is fine, in theory. Nothing special but my hair felt ok after, for reference it’s incredibly dry, which must be why i didn’t have the problems with oil that others have. HOWEVER it absolutely stinks, of dry pet biscuits.. even once dry, and after using other products to style, really genuinely horrible, not sure if this is a fault but it’s awful. Do not recommend.

Horribly greasy
I have bleached hair, so I don't mind a bit of oil, but this product simply coats your hair, and then clings on, even in several rinses. The scent is horrid, and despite its greasiness I don't feel it does anything for my hair - it just sits on top. I won't be repurchasing!

It's a no from me.
I really wanted to love this but it's just not working for me. The consistency is super thick, the smell isn't my favourite (think cocoa) and it is way too heavy, leaving me with a greasy, weighed down look. For context, I have thick-ish, wavy hair that is healthy and I rarely use heat tools/styling. If your hair is fluffy and damaged/dry or if you have soft water, this may work for you. Would proceed with caution if you're on the fence, as Cult Beauty doesn't offer returns/exchanges for products that have been trialled.
