Love Aseop but I don't get any scent at all!
I love Aesop and I use a lot of their products. However, this body cleanser (A Rose by Any Other Name) and the reviews I am reading, leave me baffled. I absolutely love a good rose scent and I bought this without any hesitation, sure I would love it. The texture is great. The cleanser's ability to cleanse is also exactly what I would expect from Aesop. It lathers beautifully and doesn't dry out my skin. Does it have any scent? My bottle has no discernible scent whatsoever. Perhaps I just got a faulty batch but, as someone who is usually incredibly sensitive to fragrance and actually prefers lighter, less over-powering scents, I can honestly say that this is what I would class as an unfragranced shower gel. I get no scent at all - nothing. I might try it again to test my theory that I just got a bad batch but from what I experienced with this one, I would not recommend it.

Gorgeous fragrance
I bought this specifically to take to use at the gym because of the handy pump dispenser, but love it so much that I now use it at home as well! The smell is to die for, it's floral, but fresh, not overpowering, it definitely gives the impression of a luxury product. I genuinely prefer this range to anything by Molton Brown, and as Aesop is comparatively lesser known, you get the benefit of feeling like you're using a far more exclusive product! This is worlds away from even the best supermarket or pharmacy body wash, I can't bring myself to use anything else now!

Lovely smell
Lovely delicate smell and very gentle on skin. I’m a fan of Aesop body wash because I love their big bottles, the pump dispenser is so practical and the products last months. The rose fragrances is great and the only reason I’m not giving it a 5 star is because I prefer the geranium body wash.
