NOT a jar
This sat in my wish list for a long time. It is not a cheap product and that packaging. I have read that jar packaging gives an impression of luxury product but I cannot stand jars. I was SO glad this was part of the CB Brand of the month deal. It looks like a jar but it is actually a pump that dispenses product from midpoint at the top. At the bottom there is a tiny hole which makes me wonder if this is vacuum too. Anyway, the product is lightweight, with a gel consistency. It is a light yellow colour and does not smell of anything. I have not finished the product yet but my skin feels so soft each time after using this. I am using this with the Balancing Moisturiser & Gentle Exfoliant. These two together has cleared some annoying breakouts possibly from some other products I was using.

Very effective!
I got this in a CB goody bag and left it long after every thing else was used up, somehow it did not appeal to me. That was until I was looking to try a retinol product and realised I had this sitting in my bathroom. Loved it from the first try. I have since purchased the full size. Yes, it tingles for about 30 seconds, but my skin's texture is now completely smooth, and it seems to work on fine lines as well. I keep to 2 x a week for now. Just remember to up your hydration game when using this. Well done Alpha H for creating such a great product!

Good while it lasted, won't (re)purchase
I received a generous deluxe size in a goody bag. At first use I was quite pleased, my skin felt softer than usual and a bit more plump. No drastic changes though. I feel like it is significantly more potent when used alone or over just some face oil, so I don't use night cream on top, but therefore I (obviously) don't feel like my skin is well nourished in the morning (but I guess I was ok sacrificing that one morning!) Can't say anything bad about it otherwise. So yeah, not crazy about it, but in the end I liked using up the tube as an exfoliating treatment and I recommend to try it out, but I will probably purchase something else next to get the effect of overnight chemical exfoliation.

Great results!
In my opinion the previous comments doesn't do 'The Beauty Sleep' any justice. I received a trial size of this product within the New Cult Classics Goody Bag. And as stated I really achieved some good results. My skin is combination, sensitive, mostly congested, with some enlarged pores on T-zone and occasional/hormonal breakouts. When using as recommended (except I might have applied it even 3 times per week, initially using every other night), I was able to see a literal difference the following morning - the initial breakouts were significantly minimised, some older pigmentation became less obvious and overall skin appearance seemed more healthier and radiant. First few applications I could fell a little tingling on the skin that lasted maybe for a minute. Gradually it disappeared and now I don't feel the slightest difference after the application in comparison any other (glycolic) treatment whatsoever. I'm almost done with the trial size and planning to purchase the full size. The only thing that keeps it from total perfection is the lack of impact on the size of those annoying enlarged pores.

Not good for sensitive skin
I've used the liquid gold for a while and got a free sample of this so thought I would try it. 2 nights after applying it my skin started to peel but in painful red raw chunks, I can't wear makeup, to moisturise is painful and my face looks a mess. Safe to say I chucked the rest of the tube away.

Great, but use with care
This peel really works! I have ignored the warning of 2 nights per week and used it 3 nights consequently, thus getting skin to literary peel off like after sunburn. It was not too visible and healed quickly. Now it looks fresher and blemish free. So it is a great product, but care needs to be taken just like with any peel.
