Was disappointed
I ordered this because I’d tried the sample. I was expecting great things but was disappointed. Unfortunately it caused me to break out massively. I use Alpha H products everyday and love them but this is definitely not for me. Feel like I’ve wasted a lot of money. Gutted because I wanted it to work.

You need this in your skincare
I currently use the Midnight reboot serum & the Alpha H liquid toner (twice a week) - their products feel so luxurious on the skin and work so well on resurfacing my skin . . I will always have glycolic acid in my skincare routine.

The Best Resurfacing Serum Ever
Glycolic Acid is my favorite skincare ingredient. It's hard to get a strong unbuffered acid that will work its magic. This serum has a low pH so it's very effective. This little miracle in a bottle erased the fine lines around my mouth and horizontal lines on my forehead. Dark spots from the sun are gone. Medium size pores on my nose and cheeks are minimized. The size of the large pores on my forehead is reduced by 50% and I have fewer blackheads on my nose. My skin is silky smooth and nourished after each use and it's definitely more elastic and firm with a regular 4-month use. I haven't finished my first bottle yet and I already ordered a second one. I'm 34 years old and the effect of this serum is comparable to a fraction laser resurfacing for me personally. Plus, it is a heavenly plush-like consistency that adds medium hydration to my skin. Thanks to this serum I managed to reduce my 12 step skincare regimen to a bare minimum. I have sensitive skin and the ingredients don't irritate it. Highly recommend.

Best thing I ever tried
Midnight Reboot serum is amazing! Got it as a sample. I have hyperpigmentation from peeling off a salicylic skin peel before it fully healed by my cheekbone and those scars have never budged inspite of using many products. The Midnight serum has been like magic on these scars. They have disappeared and my skin is glowing.

True results!
This serum is wonderful!I got a mini size from the CB goodies bag: I've used it twice a week for 4 weeks now: the skin is super soft and looks beautiful, my husband told me that was a pity to cover my skin with the foundation as it was bright and beautiful and my friends noticed the improvement too. My skin is used to retinol , glycolic acid and other strong actives so the serum didn't give me any problem , but it doesn't dry my skin out or causes me irritation as other similar products. I can't smell nothing unusual during application, I would say that it is on the no perfume/smell side. My skin is currently normal a bit drier during winter.

My new favourite serum
This serum is THE BEST! I use it 2-3 times per week and it's helped with my skin texture and tone. I sometimes experience a slight tingling but always wake up with smooth beautiful glowy skin! People have commented on the smell, it smells most like cloves and banana to me and I actually enjoy it. Will definitely repurchase.

Amazing!
Usually, I am nervous about using any product that features glycolic acid because I have such sensitive skin. However, this has been a dream to use. It has caused no tingling or irritation, and my skin really does look brighter afterwards. If you have dry or dehydrated skin then I would ensure to use a very nourishing moisturiser afterwards because it does offer quite a matte finish and not much hydration to the very top layer of the skin. I have been using it about 2-3 times per week and after each time, I can see a subtle difference in my post-inflammatory pigmentation and pore size.

Bumps ahoy!
I got this as a sample and was looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, within an hour of applying it my skin began breaking out in pink bumps all across my cheeks. I think it's the dimethicone. It also stank. Had to cleanse my face again and start from scratch with my normal routine. This product is not suitable for sensitive skin.

Quorn Bacon Substitute
I got a sample of this in a free gift from CB. The tube was only about a third full, but that was enough for around 3 applications. Due to the high percent of retinol I decided to use once a week and cut the use of my other normal nightly retinol that I use a couple of times a week (slightly weaker percentage and much much cheaper) but this has done nothing for my skin, it doesn’t leave it glowing or more even, it just does nothing! And on top of that, it smells like gone off Quorn Bacon Substitute, which puts me off.
