Bumps ahoy!

I got this as a sample and was looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, within an hour of applying it my skin began breaking out in pink bumps all across my cheeks. I think it's the dimethicone. It also stank. Had to cleanse my face again and start from scratch with my normal routine. This product is not suitable for sensitive skin.

Quorn Bacon Substitute

I got a sample of this in a free gift from CB. The tube was only about a third full, but that was enough for around 3 applications. Due to the high percent of retinol I decided to use once a week and cut the use of my other normal nightly retinol that I use a couple of times a week (slightly weaker percentage and much much cheaper) but this has done nothing for my skin, it doesn’t leave it glowing or more even, it just does nothing! And on top of that, it smells like gone off Quorn Bacon Substitute, which puts me off.

I saw a difference the following morning and after a month a definite improvement. I am delighted and at the age of 75 would recommend this product for older people who’ve given up trying to find a product that works

Amazing two in one product!

I have to admit that combining retinol with a glycolic acid scared me at first, so after this product passed the patch test with flying colours I decided to give it a proper go. After using this product my skin was so soft and smooth, and I had no irritation whatsoever! I know that retinol takes a few months to show results so I will report back but so far I'm so impressed that they managed to simplify my skincare routine by combining two products I previously thought I could not use together.

Hello hello hello there bright beautiful skin

Now my dehydrated texture congested skin should love Glycolic acid but I find the Liquid Gold to just be a bit much for me. So I would be lying to say I wasn't a bit hesitant to try this all in one wonder, plus I am hard to please when it comes to retinol. But they have done it! I only use this maybe max twice or three times a week for the last 3 or so weeks and holy moly has my skin smoothed it sure has, has it plumped oh yeah has my texture been completely altered 100%, am I impressed oh big yes. Great big bottle, easy to absorb, no smell to it all wins. The high glycolic acid can provide a slight tingle to the skin but I just follow this with a Hyaluronic acid serum and my moisturiser and my skin soaks it all up. So a great option for someone who wants to target a whole bunch of skin concerns in a super potent and in a form that actually works!

I wanted to love this...

After reading all of the amazing reviews online, I really wanted to love this product but unfortunately it just didn’t work for me. I can’t see any difference with my skin after using this; I’ve been really underwhelmed each time I’ve used it. It also smells horrible. Another review mentioned bacon fries which made me laugh until I actually tried the product myself. It absolutely does smell like that! I’ll begrudgingly use it up as it was so damn expensive but I definitely wouldn’t repurchase.

5 stars!

I'll start off by saying I'm a HUGE fan of Alpha H Liquid gold so when I heard about the launch of this serum I was desperate to try it! I've used this a couple of times now and I love how my skin looks and feels the next morning. ( Hydrated, brighter and just better in general.) Due to the high percentage of glycolic acid, I thought it might cause my skin to tingle a little bit, however, I really really surprised at how gentle it felt on my skin. ( I will mention I don't generally experience sensitivity when using acids so if you are more sensitive you'll definitely still want to introduce this gradually.) I have some marks left behind from breakouts/ pigmentation so I'm excited to see how well this serum addresses these concerns after a few more weeks of me using it. 5 stars from me!
