Specialising in gently resurfacing and regulating overactive and sensitive skins, Alpha-H is renowned for its ability to perfect even the most troublesome of complexions. Pioneering the use of active ingredients like glycolic acid (the industry-adored Liquid Gold has earned Alpha-H a serious cult following), the brand now has a global audience that worships its corrective, glow-bestowing formulas. Shining a light on the transformative power of vitamin A (and super-boosted with a collagen-stimulating retinol, itself a derivative of vitamin A), Alpha-H’s Vitamin A Serum will help you create a customised skin care routine so perfectly finessed to your complexion’s needs, you’ll have friends, family and colleagues just desperate for your skin care secrets…
Targeting your skin’s unique needs is as easy as A, B, C, thanks to Alpha-H’s ultra-customisable (not to mention effective) range of vitamin-focused treatments. Looking to tackle fine lines and uneven skin tone? Let us introduce you to the Vitamin A Serum.
Formulated with the intention of helping you create a perfectly bespoke skin care routine, this silky serum uses 0.5% retinol to rejuvenate skin, boosting collagen production and improving skin texture in the process. The result? A smoother, gently resurfaced complexion, without any of the irritation typically associated with harsh vitamin A-derived products. In part, that’s thanks to the indulgent cocktail evening primrose oil and jojoba seed oil also found in the formula: together, this fatty acid-rich duo nourishes skin to keep your moisture barrier in tip top health.
Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Methyl Gluceth-20, Polysorbate 80, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Phenoxyethanol, Squalane, Retinol, Polysorbate 20, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Solanum Lycopersicum (Tomato) Fruit Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Disodium Edta, Citric Acid.

Lovely
I have sensitive skin (although not as sensitive as some others) and this is an absolutely lovely serum to use. It's my first dive into use retinol and I highly recommend. Not too harsh, the smell isn't offputting and it feels nice!

Awesome!
Absolutely loving it — no redness, no skin reaction of any type, my skin looks glowing and fresh already after just some weeks using it.

Very gentle introduction into using retinols
This was the first retinol/vit A serum I used and as someone with sensitive &rosacea skin who was scared about potential irritation, I was very happy to find that this wasn’t too much for my skin at all. The product is a water based serum and goes on very easily and dries relatively quickly. I find that the morning after using this the previous eve, my skin is smoother and looks more even all over. It does make the skin more youthful and smoother and so I would certainly recommend this, especially to first timers with retinol like myself, or to those who have sensitive skin and don’t want to over irritate your precious face!

This is really good for sensitive skin
I’ve always had a tricky time with retinols. I’m pretty sensitive and they’ve always caused me to have breakouts This one is a good starter one which will work more gently over a longer period of time. I use every other day in the evening after cleansing and then follow up with Paula’s Choice Resist moisturiser. Don’t use any acids in the same session because it will ruin your skin - I only just realised this and now my skin has never been better… apart from when I was 22 obviously. :)

My new go to product
I love this. I’m 28 years old and wanted to get into retinol products. I use 3 times a week and have noticed an improvement after 6 weeks. I did feel sensitivity if I used every evening so I cut it down as recommended. It doesn’t really have any smell to it, it has a nice texture and I don’t think I could live without it now! Definitely worth trying if you have the money to spend and want to get into retinol!

Little pot of magic
I love the buttery texture of this light serum. I don’t really need anti-ageing products being in my early twenties but I use them because prevention is better than cure right? It sinks in well and makes my skin look good. I didn’t even know it had retinol in it if it does it must be quite diluted.

Amazing Resulst
I use this serum every night with Alpha-H vitamin B serum and they work like magic to my skin (and I think that this one is better). I have a lot of blemishes throughout every month, now they are completely gone! I still have some blackheads but I'm super happy with my skin now, really big difference, amazing results. Nothing works on my problematic skin like Alpha-H products and I tried so many brands. Love!

Best for super sensitive skin
It is very gentle retinol. When I use it my skin does not look red or irritated. It looks even calmer than on those days when I don't use vitamin A. But I never use it several days in a row. I am too young (29 y.o.) for this and use it 1-2 times a week. If you have sensitive skin and want to star use retinol, definitely try this one. At first, I try TO Granactive retinoid 2% and didn't like it, I don't see much results but my skin looks a little red in next morning. I think for some result from TO you need to use it every day, but it can irritate your skin. So I recommend this one if the price is ok for you. I will definitely buy it again.
