A really nice serum but full of silicones
Love Amika packaging and smells lush. You don't need a lot of this product and works well on damp or dry hair. I'm not sure on this product as a heat protector, as you can't use a lot, but as a smoother and finishing serum, its excellent. But be warned, this product is full of silicones! You will need to use a clarifying shampoo to get it out of your hair, otherwise you'll risk product build-up. I personally don't have an issue with silicones, they have their place, and if you want smooth, sleek, shiny hair, this product will absolutely deliver on that!.

Quite possibly my favourite heat protection product. I like the oil formula as it feels like it is coating and protecting your hair but doesn’t leave a greasy residue. The scent makes my hair smell so nice! It also conditions my hair and stops the ends feeling so dry. I do have quite oily hair however I don’t feel like this makes it any worse, I would recommend putting most of the product on the lengths and avoiding too much on the top of your head. But other than that, I would recommend to everyone wanting a good heat protection!
