Start with clean brows Micro-Stroking Detailing Brow Pen is best applied directly on clean, dry skin.Shake using downward motions before use. Start by applying in sparse areas working in the direction of hair growth. Lightly etch in any areas where you want added detail and definition. Softly blend as you go using a spoolie brush. Let dry for 20 seconds. Finish with Clear Brow Gel.

Disappointed with the brand
I usually love products from this brand but this set is really hard to work with. The pen is inconsistent, the gel is no better than cheaper ones from NYX. Usually I grit through until I run out but going to have to bin this one and order something else.

Not a fan
Not a fan! I normally use glossier brow products but wanted to try something else that I could order when ordering my other products to reduce shipping/carbon footprint. Should have just stuck with my glossier. I don’t know if I just got a faulty set but this product is really disappointing. The brow gel has a really strong chemically smell and doesn’t have particularly great hold but is still a bit crusty. When I first got it, far too much ink came out of the pen which was hard to control. Even now after a month of use it’s hard work - I’m a qualified makeup artistso I dread to think how this would work for someone with different experience. The pen and the gel do not play nicely together. If I use the pen first then set with the gel then the gel causes the pen to shift. If I do it the other way around after the brow gel has set, the pen ink doesn’t shift but it is harder to apply over a somewhat crusty gel. I’ve been trying really hard with this and wanted to love it because it comes in such a convenient pack, but it’s completely sub-par and even more disappointing because the brand has such a good reputation. If you’re tossing uk between this or another product, definitely get the other one.
