Gorgeous palette of cool fall colours
This is a lovely palette of unusual shades. I was wary after seeing all the reviews on social media, but haven't found there to be excessive fall out. Some fallout is to be expected with any matte shades. This is a lovely usable palette with richly pigmented shades. Don't be put off and try for yourself.

Disappointed
The matte shadows and the shade 'adorn' are very pigmented when swatched but I find them quite difficult to blend out and honestly, when I look at the shades I can't see really any beautiful combos, especially as I like a shimmer on my lid. 'Cube' and 'electric' are not very pigmented and don't really look nice in any of the looks I've used them in (however 'cube' makes a cool inner corner and brow bone highlight). Furthermore, because of the shades it's also hard to do an everyday look. The eyeshadow always turns out too dramatic and dark in my opinion. I can make it work but I have to reach for shimmers in other palettes. Plus, the shade 'all star' and 'rowdy' oxidise a lot. I'll pack on the pigment on to my lid and within a couple of minutes half of it is gone. To be honest, I only really purchased this because the modern renaissance is my holy grail palette, so I was extremely disappointed with the way this palette blended, and the pigmentation of the shimmers compared to that one.

Nothing but love
Amazing palette. Just love the colour selection. Pigmentation is also amazing. I don't get all the bad stuff about it I just use super soft brushes and do not tap to hard in the pan. I have zero fallout and it also blends easily and without patchiness.

Beautiful colour choices
I honestly don't understand the bad reviews, as long as you're gentle with your brush the palette is perfectly fine! The colours are absolutely gorgeous and incredibly pigmented

Beautiful and Unique
I don't understand all the bad press this palette's been getting. I highly recommend it based on my experience using it. I've found it wonderfully pigmented (almost more so than Modern Renaissance,in fact) and really blendable. The shadows also wear well on my eyes throughout the day. You have to be very gentle when using these. Just touch your brush in the pan and then gently pat the colour onto your eye before you start blending. That'll help you avoid fallout and any patchiness/skipping due to having applied too much pigment. I haven't actually had much of an issue with fallout but I've always had a very light hand. Finally, the colour selection in this palette is fantastic. It's unique. I wouldn't usually go for yellows but in the context of this palette they really work and the shade range means it's easy to create both quirky and natural looks.

Treat like a pure pigment shadow
I ordered this palette as soon and it came out and was really worried after seeing reviews online, admittedly I did struggle at the start with the palette and threw in the towel, however after listening to professional makeup artist reviews I started treating the shadows as if they're pure pigments. Absolutely gorgeous palette when blended with little pressure and adding product in small doses!! It's definitely not a palette for beginners though

Don't listen to the drama too much
I get that people used the release of this palette as an opportunity to get in the spotlight but this palette was nothing like they made it seem! Truly a sister palette to the MR with high pigmentation and beautiful shades.

A must have
I've been hearing horrible reviews, and was quite worried because I had already ordered mine, but the quality was excellent. Blendable and VERY pigmented. Just be careful when dipping your brush in the pan, because if you dip in too hard, the shadow will go everywhere. But because the shadows are so pigmented it shouldn't bother you, you'll get plenty on your brush.

Beautiful Gorgeous product
This palette is everything. I've been hearing mixed reviews, mostly bad but I did not find anything wrong with this product. I own the Modern Renaissance palette and this palette is as equally good. So glad I spent my money on the Subculture palette.

Gorgeous!
These eyeshadows are stunning. They are packed with so much pigment, you must go very light handed to be able to blend these shadows properly. You can't pack your brush full with product and try to blend that on your eyes, it just won't work with these shadows. They have some fallout because the way they are pressed, but if you don't have an issue with that I will 100% recommend this palette to you! Subculture is a little different from other palettes out there, but it'll work perfectly if you use it right. One of my favourite palettes at the moment.
