Subculture Palette
I really don't understand the bad press this palette was getting. Super pigmented, easy to blend and gorgeous colour selection. The palette is a bit powdery but if you are light handed with brushes it works just as well as other ABH shadows. I wouldn't recommend using the brush which comes with the palette (though it is a great brush to use with other shadows) as I believe it is too hard for the soft shadows. I had this same problem with the brush on my Modern Renaissance palette.

Beautiful colour coordination!
This palette is so beautiful, just like its sister palette Modern Renaissance. It's so bold, and colourful. Very unique. I love a quirky palette. The shadows are super soft and blendable. They are also pigmented. There is however, a fair amount of fall out from the palette. But if you go in lightly with your brushes, you should not have an issue. I've adapted on how to use this palette and so far I've created some stunning looks. Like mine, I hope it works for others!

Do not buy!!
Chalky, powdery and so much fallout! Just the worst palette I have tried.

I ordered this and received it a couple of days ago. I was so in love with the shades and wanted the palette so bad. I watched many reviews, all of which were either really positive or really negative. It was about 50/50 so I decided to buy and see for myself.I knew there would be a lot of a fallout due to the colour of the shades - they're difficult colours to make opaque. If you want good colour pay off, you have to add more pigment. More pigment means more fallout, and the shadows being more difficult to blend/work with. Individually, each shadow is pretty good. However for me they don't blend together. When trying to blend shades together your look will become a mess. There are harsh lines, the actual colours of the shadow change/oxidise and it all becomes extremely patchy. This basically defeats the whole point of making a palette - they don't work together at all. For the price especially, this was a disappointment. Two stars is generous - giving one for the nice packaging and one for the shades appearance on its own.

Really disappointed in this palette, not like the modern renaissance. I wanted to love it but the fact its difficult to blend and layer shadows it was a massive let down. MR palette is and always will be the best.

I love it!! it's soooo nice and pigmented and just as good as MR. It is a little powdery but not like anything crazy to be honest and I've had no problems blending it out at all.
