The cream
Definitely recommend trialling the smaller size before buying the large. I have combination oily skin and the rich cream I found was too heavy and made my face look even more oilier. I will keep this for colder winter months when using retinol. However if you have oilier skin ‘The cream’ sat lovely on my skin and under make up. I even received a compliment of how good my skin was looking. Too early to tell if it’s reversing the damage on my skin but in all it’s a lovely product and I will continue to finish the bottle. Not sure if I will buy the full size as I have not seen amazing results and for the price there are other moisturisers on the market which do just the same. Jury is still out on this one.

Great for pigmentation
The AB cream has been great for pigmentation. I find this set great as you can switch between the cream / rich cream depending on how your skin is feeling. The cream is a great option if you occasionally breakout, while the rich cream is great if you need a bit more hydration.

Lives up to the hype
First things first I don't usually buy the hype of high-end skin creams. I personally don't think brands, like La Mer, are active enough to do anything to your skin other than moisturise . I bought this set as a way to try out the AB creams to see what the fuss is about as there seems to be a lot of legitimate science behind it. I have to say I loved them. The rich cream is better suited for me, those with mature or drier skin types or those that need something extra during winter. It's not as rich as, say, Weleda Skin Food. The "normal" cream was a bit too light in moisture for me so I will probably buy another trial size in that one for the summer. I would highly recommend that you at least try one of them as a trial size. I have since bought the rich cream twice (small sizes) just to be sure that it works. And for me when I use it it just evens the skin tone and gives it luminosity. I always get compliments on my skin when I've used it. I've also used it around the eyes and I haven't had any irritation from it. As I don't have regular facials, I think this is money well spent and a worthwhile investment in your skincare. I will be buying the bigger size now and have bought the AB shampoo to try. Before applying this cream I use Biologique Recherche P50 and Vitamin C serum from Paula's Choice.
