New HG Balm
I decided to try this lip balm after going back and forth about it because of how expensive it is and I’m happy that I did. I’m not sure if it’s going to help fine lines around my lips but it’s definitely very hydrating and has helped with my chapped lips. I probably have around 30 lip balms and this has become my new favourite. I know the price is a bit off putting but if you can afford, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

So this looks and feels beautiful. Its a metal tube that feels really high quality and luxe. However, the lip balm acts like something I've bought on the high street for a couple of quid and it tastes VILE. Even the smell of this makes me feel a bit sick now. Try to give it a go in store before buying!

Easy hydrating lip balm
This lip balm is not too thick and feels almost like a serum in texture. It would be great for anyone who doesn't like a really glossy finish on their lips and wants something subtle. I do find it really hydrating and it makes my lips feel soft so it's a joy to use. Like with all Augustinus Bader products I've tried, the smell is subtle. As lovely as it is, I do however find the price point quite steep and haven't seen the benefits of the iconic TFC8 complex in this form so I've gone for 4 stars instead of 5.

Effective with a strange taste
I don't end up using this very often due to the taste which I really don't enjoy despite doing my best to not lick my lips or otherwise get it in my mouth. However it is effective when I do use it - not one of those all too common lip balms that has an overall drying effect so that you have to continually use it, this actually does moisturise the lips over the long term.

Delightful
As a discerning lip balm addict with large lips it is rare that a new product is good enough to make it into my arsenal for more than a few days before being thrown away. This is now firmly in, used after cleansing my face and teeth, morning and night with my other balms used in between during the day for general hydration. That way, my lips are getting a proper treatment with TFC8. Lips are smoother; less dead skin and flaking, and I don’t feel like I’m constantly reaching for my other balms. My lips are holding hydration now as never before. Excellent and well priced if considered as a lip treatment rather than just a regular balm.

This lip balm adds instant hydration to my lips. My lips look plump, soft, and smooth and I love the overall effect of the product. It has no taste or smell which I prefer and it sits comfortably on the lips. It's a little too expensive for me (hence the lost star) but it is a gorgeous product and I look forward to seeing the long-term benefits.
