Developed by a world-leading expert in stem cell research, Professor Augustinus Bader has spent thirty years unlocking the body’s innate processes to self-heal. The result? Game-changing {skin care} that uses a unique, patented Trigger Factor Complex - TFC8 - to help visibly reduce the signs of ageing and damage caused by environmental stressors, and leave skin looking restored, regenerated and glowing.
A lesson in lasting hydrating and supple skin, The Lip Balm is Augustinus Bader's answer to chapped, textured and depleted kisses. An everyday necessity, even more so as temperatures drop, this luxurious formula will leave your lips soft and beautifully smooth, without a trace of discomfort.
With its ultra-nourishing and softening formula, this lip balm is like everything else in the Augustinus Bader range – indulgent, efficacious and results-driven. Harnessing the power of his signature TFC8 Complex to support skin renewal and provide cells with nutrients needed for optimal health, alongside nutrient-rich candelilla wax (an equally moisturising, vegan alternative to beeswax) that forms a protective veil over your lips. What's more, it's infused with plant-derived collagen to encourage the appearance of plump, pillowy soft lips, while a conditioning duo of anti-irritant bisabolol and replenishing vitamin E works to empower your skin's barrier function and, in turn, boosting your hydration levels.

Skincare for your lips
I think if you view this as a skin care treatment for your lips, rather than so many typically thicker and richer lip balms then you really get your head around it. It's not thick or rich when applied, but you absolutely still get results. It feels so silky and nourishing still when you apply it, your hair doesn't get stuck in anything glossy, and the packaging is oh-so sleek to boot. It comforts and cushions your lips and feels more like a long-term results-driven treatment than an instant cover-up. As the seasons change this is my most reached for lip treatment to keep my lips supple, soft, and flake-free.

Best lip balm
Despite drinking lots of water daily, I find I always have dry lips. I’ve tried hundreds of other lip balms, I have a draw full of other makes that I don’t finish because they are not working. But this one is wonderful, it hydrates my lips straight away. It’s expensive for a lip balm but worth every penny.

Beyond average
This is definitely not worth the money and so bog standard - it doesn't last long on the lips so they remain dry and unmoisturised - would recommend buying anything else because at this price point you can afford it.

The best
The best lip balm I’ve ever used! I was in desperate need of some TLC from cold, horrible weather and this lip balm worked wonders! Used it every day since. Will be buying again!

Contributes to more lip dryness and irritation.
As soon as I started using this lip balm, my lips started doing poorly. To see whether it is this lip balm that is causing the problem, I started an “investigation” - would use my old lip balm one day and Augustinus Bader lip balm the next day. On the days when I use Augustinus Bader lip balm my lips feel more dry and irritated.

Doesn’t do the job
Unfortunately this product is very basic and for me it really didn’t help. After having used it for 1 month I find my lips constantly dehydrated, not worth the expensive price.

Really good
This lip balm isn't about instant gratification. Having used the lip balm for a few days now, I do see a difference in the smoothness of my lips as well my lips flush a beautiful pink tone. I quite like it but I am going to wait and observe long term benefits from the balm before making up my mind about a repurchase.

Unfortunately, nothing new.
Should have known it wouldn’t outperform a “regular” lip balm, based on the ingredients. It’s decent enough, just not worth the price so won’t be repurchasing. The packaging is quite heavy and beautiful, though.

Not worth the money!
I had high expectations for this lip balm but was very disappointed. It feels completely like a cheap chapstick and gives a Vaseline feeling that is not necessarily bad - if the price had been a third.
