Tip bottle upside down. Return upright. Turn cap to expose nozzle.
Lightly squeeze bottle to puff powder at roots. (Squeeze bottle very lightly until you see how much comes out with each puff. Tip bottle as needed to increase powder flow.)

This gives a lot more grit, body, and volume than other non-aerosol dry shampoos I've tried from CB like the Ace and Tate one. It makes my hair thicker which is great for my thin hair. Impressed that it gets rid of oil well but does leave a slight white cast at first.

Bottle lasts
This is the only dry shampoo product that lasts more than a few months. Does pretty well absorbing and making your hair look like you’ve showered. Does make it more textured though, and I don’t enjoy how course my hair feels

Amazing if you don’t want to use aerosols
I started using this product around 2 years ago and for me it was a game changer. I can easily go 2 weeks between washes, I don’t get a chalky built up on my hair and if you use it together with the hair refresher from Aveda then you don’t get smelly hair either. I also find it quicker than a spray can as you don’t have to work it in as much, yes it is a bit spendy but in my opinion very much worth the extra cost when it’s better for the environment & essentially has the same value for money as a spray dry shampoo because it lasts for a long time, I get around 7 months from one of these.

Amazing dry shampoo
This is by far the best dry shampoo product I’ve ever used!! Because it is dispensed as a dry powder, it doesn’t make your hair damp like other aerosol versions do. The only reason why I haven’t given 5 stars is because it can be a bit messy to use. You have to gently squeeze the bottle and the powder comes out in little puffs, but I usually do it before I get dressed or just cover my shoulders with a towel. However, I do think that because it comes out in a bit of a cloud, I don’t end up caking my hair in the product so I’m not using enough for it to be super messy and it does brush off your clothes. It feels a lot lighter than anything else I’ve used before and it lasts for ages. Definitely worth the money!

Formula outstanding, packaging makes it unusable
The formula is the best of any dry shampoo I have ever used, keeps hair shiny and easy to brush once used (which I find usually doesn't happen with dry shampoo). However, to dispense it, you need to squeeze the bottle and big puffs of powder come out and go everywhere! Literally all over your head, shoulders, clothes etc. It is SO messy to apply, even when you squeeze the smallest amount of product out. I had to throw mine away because I had to wash my dressing gown everytime I used it. Such a shame as the formula was so good. PLEASE Aveda, find a way to keep the formula but in a better packaging such as a regular spray or something other than this puffy mess!
