Combining Avène’s Thermal Spring Water – for a surge of soothing moisture – with [C-Restore]™ (a post-biotic biotechnological patented active ingredient derived from Aqua Dolomiae), the barrier-replenishing cream helps to minimise feelings of discomfort and dryness for up to 48 hours. Topped with clarifying copper sulphate and zinc sulphate, the fragrance-free formula is suitable for the whole family.

A baked-bean sized amount, rubbed between fingers, patted over my face, then rubbed in. It’s not oily or greasy, it just absorbs into my skin. An incredible primer or evening cream. It’s very inexpensive and I highly recommend it.

The texture of the cream is quite thick, slightly white on the skin, like a high SPF sunscreen. When absorbed, the whiteness disappears. Economical. Suitable for all skin types for absolutely all ages from infants. I was very afraid that Cicalfate cream would clog my pores after cleansing, but the instructions say NON-COMEDOGENIC
