Formulated with antioxidant-rich provitamin E and myrtle extract, the gentle moisturiser works dually to mattify (goodbye excess sebum and shine) while promoting natural-looking luminosity. Cucurbita pepo (a botanical extract brimming with vitamins and minerals) helps to visibly shrink the pores for a smoother-looking skin finish; supported by the brand’s Thermal Spring Water to grant soft, supple and seriously hydrated results.

Good value for money
A good product, especially at its price point, but there are better water based moisturisers on the market. As someone with oily and blemish prone skin, this didn't break me out but also wasn't the most hydrating water based moisturiser I've ever used. I think the Hydrance Light-UV Hydrating Emulsion SPF 30 from Avene is more hydrating and an all around better product in my opinion and equally as affordable.

Highly hydrating
This is a lovely gel moisturiser, despite it being a gel it is super hydrating! Far more hydrating than the brands recovery range I’ve found. Leaves my skin super calm and even. Only downside is that it may be responsible for a couple of clogged pores since using, but otherwise its been a welcome addition to my skincare.

A gel based cream - full of hydration
I'm usually a huge fan of all avene products however this one is sadly not for me. The gel based formulation is gorgeous on application, but it didnt sink into my skin and left my hand and face feeling a bit sticky. I applied before going to bed and needed to wash my hands to remove the product residue. The positives of this is the hydration is wonderful - my face still felt reminents of the gel cream in the morning almost as if a gel layer or shield was applied. I would use this more of a mask and remove rather than a cream before bed.

Gorgeous gel moisturiser
I'm always pleasantly surprised by Avene products and this one is no exception - it has a super lightweight, gel like formula that melts into the skin and give instant hydration that lasts throughout the day. As good as many of the other, more expensive gel moisturisers. Would definitely repurchase.
