A brand that needs no introduction, bareMinerals has been perfecting the complexions of many a beauty obsessive for years. Their award-winning complexion heroes and no-nonsense approach to beauty (think: no animal cruelty, parabens, mineral oil, microbeads, etc.) has earnt them a stellar reputation amid the beautysphere. Bringing your lashes all-day volume in a water-resistant, flake-proof and ophthalmologist-tested formula is the Maximist Volumizing Phyto-Fiber Mascara.
Maxing out on volume without compromising on lash health is the plant-based mascara to make you and your eyes swoon. This mascara has us all aflutter (not to mention our lashes), do we start by shouting out the plant-based brush or instantly volumizing fibers?
Cleverly created with dual reservoirs to build maximum volume, this cruelty-free brush ensures you achieve all the drama and more. We’ve all heard of fibers for instant volume…but have you seen upcycled orange peel fibres before? We didn’t think so! bareMinerals has harnessed their power to give extreme volume in the flick of a wand. Amping up the volume even further is a microalgae complex, which fortifies and nourishes your lashes over time to leave them looking and feeling visibly thicker and denser with continued use. This is the flake-proof volumising mascara that does good for your lashes and the planet.

Not maximum enough for me
I love bare minerals and have tried all the mascaras. I wanted to love this one but it wasn’t for me. Not enough volume/length. The Lashtopia is my solid favourite from bare minerals, little application with a lot lash.

Made my eyes red and itchy
I have sensitive eyes but am usually ok with most mascaras. This one was just awful. It contains orange peel fibres which I believe shed into your eyes all day. I love that it creates good volume but by the end of the day I wanted to scratch my eyes out. I am very disappointed as I thought that Bare minerals was a decent brand with an awareness of harmful ingredients. Apparently not. I tried it two days running in case it was not the mascara but something else but sadly it was. By the end of both days my eyes were red, irritated and itchy. It was a relief to remove this mascara and I would advise anyone to beware of fibre mascaras as they do shed fibres as the day wears on, lodging them in your eyes. This can cause eye damage and I would not recommend this mascara to anyone, sensitive eyes or not. It was very uncomfortable.

Good Mascara
Good mascara, but a bit clumpy. I like BareMinerals products as they are chemical free
