The velvet side is amazing and lasts much longer than the sponge side. The gel cushion inside I think adds so much more of a seamless finish than flatter velvet sponges however the sponge size felt unnecessary, did begin to disintegrate and wasn’t the easiest to clean. Velvet side 5 stars 🙌🏼
