Another amazing Asian export, Bio-Essence Miracle Bio-Water Jelly Make Up Remover is quite probably magical (we suspect the star ingredient is ‘Unicorn Tears’). With an ultra-mild, paraben-free formula that’s suitable for sensitive complexions, this calming, jelly-textured cleanser dissolves make up and dirt effortlessly, without leaving skin feeling tight, stripped or sensitised. There’s no need to scrub (especially important around the delicate eye area) – just apply the product directly to dry skin and massage evenly for a minute or two, before rinsing thoroughly with warm water. Et voila! Your skin feels as clean as a new pin – glowing, hydrated and ready to make the most of your serum, treatment or moisturiser.

Great make up remover but...
Sadly only four stars as my eyes tend to water after I use this cleanser. I have that with a lot of cleansers who claim to work as eye make up removers too. So yeah if you have sensitive eyes this might not be your cleanser.

Love this product
I absolutely love this. I'm now on my second bottle. I haven't had any problems with eye irritation. Removes all my makeup without drying out my skin like I have found with other products. Would highly recommend.

Disappointing
Skin: Combination/Dehydrated I was using this as my first cleanse and found it quite drying and that it didn't really remove my make up well, especially eye make up and brow pomade.

NOT FOR SENSITIVE EYES
I bought this because it says it is for sensitive skin. That may well be the case, but it's NOT FOR SENSITIVE EYES! I used a little on a clean cotton pad, swiped gently over my eyelids and just from my first - and only - use, it triggered such a reaction - streaming eyes, redness, severe irritation - I had to visit my optician my eyes were that bad. So, please, if you have sensitive eyes, stay away from this.

NOT FOR SENSITIVE EYES
I originally wrote a review and gave it two stars - with huge regret after I'd submitted it. This product has been the worst beauty product I've ever bought, as it is terrible for sensitive eyes. I used it on a cotton pad to wipe off eye make-up and it immediately caused severe irritation. My eyes took a week to recover - the irritation was that severe. This was a waste of money for me and I binned it, as I didn't even want to pass it on to a friend for fear of causing somebody else eye irritation.

AMAZING
Fantastic product. I have been on Roaccutane for acne 3 times, after my last dose my skin has been clear and I have been using my usual routine of face wipes followed my cetaphil face wash to remove makeup. However, rather unfortunately, after 3 months my spots slowly begin to reappear as has happened previously. I would often find that my routine would leave makeup on my face & when dried with a towel it would show makeup marks. I saw this face wash/gel on a blog and thought I would try it as I am worried of the damage pulling and tugging my face and eye area with face wipes would cause. When it arrived was sceptical as it is highly fragranced and due to past medication I have sensitive skin and I must be careful not to irritate it, which will cause breakouts. I can now say, after 2 months of clear and glowing skin - this is the best product I have ever used. Even with my highly sensitive skin (which my dermatologist describes as paper thin at the moment haha) this gel is the sh*t. Add this product directly to face and gently rub with your fingers to remove all traces of makeup, rinse and tap dry - as easy as that, no makeup left over, no towel marks and no harsh tugging with cotton wool or face wipes. After 2 months of using this rather than face wipes I can honestly say my skin is the best it has ever looked, even after 3 rounds of roaccutane. The wash is so gentle that I have had no breakouts and my complexion has become even and clear. I can walk around with no makeup on and no redness or irritation...people are actually complimenting me on my skin. After the wash I use a Cetaphil moisturiser which is as gentle as I can find in the market and recommended by my dermatologist, it makes a great pairing. Absolutely fantastic product, just ordered my second bottle! I hope this works for someone else as well as it has worked for me. Not only has it improved my skin but it's also cut down time on my night time routine, perfect product for those of us that hate removing makeup after a long day at work, means I can get it over with in 30 seconds and jump in to bed.

Streaming Eyes
I wish I'd listened to the reviews! This leaves my eyes streaming every time I use it and I don't usually have the most sensitive of eyes. While it does remove makeup well, it leaves my face slightly sticky afterwards that I have to cleanse again (what's the point of a cleanser that requires a second cleanser?!). Will not be purchasing again. CULT BEAUTY REPLY: It sounds like you're not quite using this product properly. You need to apply it, massage all over your make up and then wash off. This is not a wipe off remover.

Amazing!
I was a bit sceptical before first using this cleanser but also very curious. I usually use heavy duty balms and oils and face cloths so I was pretty sure that it won't do enough to remove my make up. But I was wrong. It's amazing and feels like you are washing your face with water but without drying your skin out. I do rinse it off with water then follow with skin cleanser and a face cloth. It's effective and fun way of removing your make up.

Not for sensitive eyes
I normally stick to Clinique which is renowned for being fragrance free and suitable for even the most sensitive skin. I wanted to love this product with all of the glowing reviews it has been receiving, yet for me my experience is a mixed bag. As an eye makeup remover I found the fragrance in this very bothersome for my eyes and my eyes watered and were red for some time after use. However, I decided to give the product three stars as it removes foundation and even spf moisturisers beautifully and it does hydrate. If you are less super-sensitive than myself this would also be a lovely product to use as the first cleanse in a double cleansing routine.

A good pre-cleanse
This is a good product, but, like other reviewers on Cult Beauty, it makes bold claims that it doesn't quite live up to. The packaging is great, it's a generous bottle with a pump (huzzah!). It smells lovely - fresh and clean, which is just what you want from a cleanser. I like to use this as my first cleanse in the evening to remove (most of) my makeup, before moving on to the Oskia Rennaissance Cleansing Gel. I wear a waterproof mascara every day (Chanel Inimitable) and it doesn't quite get rid of it, leaving me with a slight panda-eyed look in the morning. However, it is a pretty clingy mascara so I wasn't particularly surprised that this didn't get rid of it all. I'm yet to find a product that does! Generally speaking, though, for what I use it for it is great. It removes all of my face make-up and leaves my skin ready for my second cleanse. Could I live without it, though? Yes.
