It relies on both physical and enzymatic exfoliation to ensure baby-soft results: sugar crystals gently buff and polish dead cells from your skin’s outermost layer while pomegranate enzymes break down the bonds between dead skin cells. not bad not great
overpriced for the overall effect. love the initial gritty yet silky texture and great soft scent, but can melt really quickly and not do much to slough dead skin. I also thought there would be more softening effects on the skin but it's just meh.

very gritty but not abrasive
i was looking for a nice new body scrub for my black friday haul and was torn between this one and the SDJ body scrub which one of my friends swears by. But personally i like Biossance more as a brand so i got this and have been loving it. The texture is very gritty like a proper scrub but the sugar melts and skin feels so smooth and nice. The smell is fresh and nice as well but is a tad difficult to get out of the tube.

This body scrub isn’t too harsh but is very effective, it has a light inoffensive scent - although I wouldn’t say it’s a product I feel indulgent using - and is a great weekly body maintenance product. Softening but not greasy. My only gripe is the packaging, I felt like there was a lot I couldn’t get out toward the end because it is quite thick.

So effective but not harsh!
We all can sometimes get a little too carried away when exfoliating especially with our bodies where we may be in the moment don't feel it too much, however, these very fine grainy (in a great way) sugar-based scrubs mean the sugar starts to dissolve against our wet skin providing an effective but not harsh or painful experience. Your skin feels smooth and nurtured ready for your cream to leave a soft, bouncy and silky skin that will be so touchable soft.
