Would skip for dehydrated, sensitive skin
Really wanted to love this, but I’ve found it stings a bit on my sensitive skin and isn’t quite as hydrating as I’d hoped. The texture feels lovely and rich for a gel cream, but isn’t enough for my dehydrated skin, even in summer.

Lovely cream, not quite ‘enough’ for me
I really wanted to love this as I really enjoy a gel cream in the morning under sunscreen. This delivers on a lot of fronts (non fragranced, great ingredients, luxe feel and packaging that match the price)… however whilst it’s not meant to be rich I don’t find it at all moisturising enough. I like a gel cream to feel like it’s plumping and will quench my slightly dehydrated skin. This kinda doesn’t, it sinks in a bit too quickly to almost nothing and I’m left feeling like I could have totally missed it as a step. I’ve tried layering it and the second layer does the same thing. My skin isn’t even that thirsty! Tbh I rate the Avene gel cream much higher. I got sucked into style over function here. Some people will love it though I’m sure and it didn’t break me out at all.
