lovely, but not for me
A lovely oil for sensitive skin. No irritation and no overwhelming smell. I found that this was rather nice to apply but didn’t do much for my skin. If you’re prone to a more oily complexion (like myself) I wouldn’t say that it absorbs well into the skin. However I did gift it to a friend with a drier skin type and she loved it! So I guess it just depends on the person x

Ok but didn’t absorb
I received this in a goody bag. I’ve tried using it religiously but found it hasn’t made much difference to overall appearance of my skin (fine lines, hyperpigmentation or pores). I have naturally more oily skin and get hormonal breakouts and found this just sits on my skin and doesn’t absorb. I won’t be purchasing.

A gentle squalene based Vitamin C
I discovered this during lockdown and since I’ve been through 4 bottles. While most water based Vitamin C serums only irritated my skin this has THD ascorbate in a squalene base which is much gentle compared to L-Ascorbic Acid based formula. I found this helped with my hyperpigmentation and layered really well with other skincare. I can wear this during the day as well. I’m really glad that Biossance now have a matching Moisturiser in the range and the duo are now my power couple xx

Deeply hydrating
I received a travel sized version of this as part of the Glow & Go Goody Bag. I use it primarily at night after cleansing my face since it is quite rich and heavy. However, it is incredibly hydrating, has a calming smell (not too strong) of roses, and a little goes a long way - 4 drops is more than enough. I have dry skin so it is perfect for me and doesn't clog my pores, but it might be a bit too rich for oily skin. It is readily absorbed during the night, so I don't feel greasy when I wake up and instead, my skin looks hydrated and plump.
