Application differs depending on your curl texture and desired results.
Apply to soaking wet hair.
For extra volume: Pour gel into palms and graze gel over canopy, tip head forward and graze underneath. Apply more gel to ends and scrunch hair up towards head. Scrunch and hold each section for 10 seconds to encourage curl formation.
For volume control: Use fingers to rake gel through hair in sections starting at the back of the head and working towards the front. Ensure even distribution. This method works well for medium/thick textures to elongate curls and prevent shrinkage.
Style as usual. Avoid touching hair until completely dry to prevent frizz. Once hair is completely dry, tip head forward and scrunch out gel.

Does the job
I would say it works if your hair is thicker but I’d avoid if your hair is fine as it would probably just weigh it down

Underwhelmed
Sadly this product didn’t do anything for my curls. (My hair is quite fine with a loose ringlet and prone to frizz). It has a runny consistency rather than what you’d expect from a gel and didn’t give me the definition I was looking for.

Would repurchase!
I have curls that tend to be on the dry side, this creme was excellent. It left my curls defined but not crunchy perfect to bring on holiday

Nothing to write home about!
It’s very runny for starters. It does seem to help define curls and smells a bit like a spa which is nice. Another bonus is it doesn’t leave your hair or curls crusty but I don’t find it a particularly amazing product.

Love it!
This is a really good product. I have 3c, dry and coloured hair. When I use this my curls are very defined and healthy looking. It's on a par with another favourite haircare product of mine - the Kinky Curly Custard. So if you like that, you'll probably like this. The consistency of the Bouclème is a bit more watery and maybe seems like it would have less hold at first, but the effect is brilliant.

Love
I love this gel and have used it for years. It has a watery consistency that dries without being crusty or sticky.
