shocked during shower
I bought this shampoo because the one I was normally using is very expensive and wanted to try cheaper options (this is not cheap either but is cheaper). From its ingredient list, I could not see anything harmful for the hair. That’s why I am giving it 3 stars, otherwise, I would give 1. The first time I used it, I couldn’t even run my fingers through my hair while trying to rinse. My hair was long and damaged so I thought maybe that was the reason. Then I got a shoulder length haircut. I used the shampoo twice more and even with conditioner, the result was the same. With my previous shampoo, I was not even using a conditioner. I will unfortunately have to throw it to trash because I am afraid of damaging my newly cut hair.

Good shampoo
Hair does not feel dry and scalp feels less oily throughout the day.. less frizzy as well! Works better with the leave in mask.

The best
One of the best shampoos I've ever used, it really keeps your hair moisture without needing any conditioner. I have dry hair with oily scalp and my hair is curly. Also, I used it when I my hair was colored and it didn't ruin the colour, it works very will for my hair.

Great shampoo
So gentle and my hair was clean longer. Great for sensitive scalp and dry hair. Also nice scent, not too strong.

Could not continue using
If you are someone very sensitive to high scents, make sure and test this before you commit to buying full size. I could not handle the strong smell of it unfortunately. It also did not feel very moisturising to me, but this is only my experience.

I was introduced to ...
I was introduced to this by a friend, along with the mask, and it has become my holy grail shampoo! I have very thick hair with a tendency to go super frizzy as soon as I got hot or in humid conditions. This cleanses my hair without leaving it feeling stripped, and keeps it hydrated without weighing it down. I normally need to shampoo 3-4 times to get through all my hair but I only need two with this! I haven't strayed from this for over a year...it also lasts forever :D

Not impressed
To be honest I was not impressed with this. After seeing all the reviews on social media I was sure this will be a success, but it wasn't. It made my scalp very itchy and flaky. Not worth the hype.

LOVE IT!
I’ve been using it since October 2018 and I currently started my second bottle. It’s the best shampoo I’ve ever used. It’s worth mentioning that for years I’ve been having Scalp Psoriasis and both Don’t Despair, Repair Shampoo and conditioner with the same name helped me a lot! My hair is super nice in touch and easy to style.

Not good for dry hair
This is not a bad shampoo per se, but I have long, fine and dry hair with highlights. This shampoo makes my hair feel extremely dry, so I have learned to use it with caution. I can only use it as a deep cleansing shampoo to wash out any oil treatments (I regularly use a mixture of coconut, Moroccan, avocado, castor and jojoba oil as an overnight treatment), or if I first use a pre-shampoo treatment (like the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer). Otherwise, even with a deep treatment/conditioner, my hair is a frizzy, dry, knotty mess! I won't be re-purchasing this one, but I will use up whatever I have left in my pump bottle.
