Dispense one to two nickel-sized amounts. Massage the treatment into the scalp and throughout the hair from root to tip before bedtime (protect your pillow with a towel, if needed). The gel will melt into oil as the formula begins penetrating the scalp and hair. Leave the treatment in overnight and shampoo to remove the next day.
It should be used once per week or every two weeks. In between treatments, it is recommended to use one of Briogeo's shampoo and conditioner sets (sold separately).

Buy other Briogio masks. This one does not make a cut.
I love Briogio products, I only use their products on my hair (shampoo, dry shampoo, masks, conditioners). My HG mask is Don't despair, repair but this one is a huge NO, NO. It doesn't spread well on the hair. At the moment the gel touches the hair they become oily and tangled, it is very difficult to spread the mask through the hair. They are oily and messy and it's uncomfortable to sleep with it even though I put my hair up. You can't put too much of it on your hair because it is very small tube so at least I was very careful with how much I put on my hair. Next morning when I shampoo my hair (with Briogio shampoo, currently the Superfoods one) they are dry and tangled, not conditioned at all. I don't recommend this product.

Worth every penny
My hair is generally very thick, wavy and dry at the ends, which means a lot of breakage. This mask is so good I got confused on how to style my now very soft hair! It really doesn't transfer on my pillow and sinks right into the hair without being overly greasy. Definitely recommend to anyone with dry hair.

Gross & doesn't work that well
It has a horrible sickly sweet smell and (at least in my cool climate) a sticky, tacky, dry texture that doesn't really turn into an oil at all. It doesn't feel conditioning but it does make the hair look greasy fast. it's like putting non-absorbent grease in your hair. In my experience plain apricot kernel oil, rosehip oil, avocado oil, coconut oil and/or castor oil works much better and for a fraction of the price with no smell (unless you choose to put a hair appropriate essential oil in it). The Ordinary sells good quality hair oils.

Weird sticky oily texture
Not a fond of its sticky oily texture even when you use a tiny bit. It looks super greasy on the hair too. Will be sticking to normal hair oil (love Ouai’s Rose Oil btw).

Amazing
I have very damaged hair and this mask brings so much moisture to it, making it really soft and shiny (I've used other masks before that didn’t do this although they claim to). Plus, the formula is A+! Because it’s a gel to oil, when you put it on the hair it doesn’t get messy at all, I don’t even need to sleep with a towel on the pillow because it doesn't transfer!
